Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kash Nash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Case Steele!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nash misses with a body shot.
Nash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steele moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nash takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Steele closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nash is trying to get back to half guard.
Nash is trying to control Steele's posture but Steele avoids it.
Steele tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steele wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nash keeps working.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nash tries to buck Steele off but Steele is having none of it.
Steele in side control, throwing shots but Nash defends.
Nash tries to bench press Steele off him but Steele keeps the position.
Steele fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Steele is looking to take a break and control but Nash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Nash's face as Steele controls the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nash is trying to get back to half guard.
The referee asks Steele politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Steele prefers to stall for the moment though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Steele working the body and head with strikes.
Nash is looking for a sweep.
Steele tries to score with some ground and pound. Nash controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Nash avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Steele.
Steele tries to move into full mount but can't pass Nash's legs.
Nash is not content to let Steele control the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nash avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Steele.

And that's the end of the fight!
Case Steele comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Steele has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Booker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Duke's half guard.
Booker trying to control the action but Duke is working from the bottom.
Duke tries to get to full guard but Booker has control of the leg.
Duke is looking to escape.
Duke is trying to control but can't.
Booker blocks the strikes from Duke.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duke is holding on to half guard well.
Booker trying to control the pace.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Booker wants to pass the guard but Duke is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duke swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Booker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Duke won't be happy with that.
Booker controls the position from side control.
Duke tries to improve position but can't.
Duke manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Duke moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Booker.

Duke swings around for an armbar but Booker sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Duke's guard.

Duke controls Booker momentarily but Booker frees himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Duke wants to get back to his feet but Booker is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ezekiel Booker showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Booker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
