Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alejandro Ortega! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Phisi Nono! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

And Fletcher responds with a good body kick, but Mondale manages to step out the way in time. Fletcher will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mondale went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Mondale shoots in for a double leg but Fletcher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mondale fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mondale dives in for a single leg takedown but Fletcher sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jaron Fletcher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jack Mondale is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fletcher creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Mondale showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mondale has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chan Sung Jung! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brenden Hickman! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hickman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Jung on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hickman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jung circles away. Hickman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jung. Hickman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Hickman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jung counters with a stiff right hand. Hickman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle�. Ooooh, that looks tight� Jung is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jung and Hickman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jung is trying to control Hickman's posture but Hickman avoids it. Jung tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hickman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hickman tries for a kimura but Jung is defending well. Jung gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Jung tries to hold on but Hickman pushes him away. Hickman seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Jung is holding on tight.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Jung is desperately trying to improve his position but Hickman has a good base and remains in mount. Jung bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Hickman working a defensive guard but Jung passes into half guard.
Hickman is refusing to be controlled, as Jung sits in half guard. Hickman tries to roll over but Jung keeps him under control. Jung trying to control the action but Hickman is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hickman trying to hold on to Jung's head to control him but Jung postures up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chan Sung Jung will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
