With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Darius! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cuba Gooding! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darius swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Gooding counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Darius throws a lazy uppercut
and Gooding counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gooding avoids a punch combination nicely.
Benny Darius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gooding shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Gooding avoids the body shot from Darius.

The fighters circle momentarily. Darius darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Gooding bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It seemed like Gooding was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Darius swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

A nice side step and Gooding releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Darius misses the body punch and Gooding connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Darius fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gooding is out of range.

With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayilton Almeda! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almeda scores with a nice strike. It looks like Jesus Christ has been cut. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Christ!
It looks like Jayilton Almeda has been cut. A big right from Christ misses. Almeda looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Christ scores with a crisp jab that stopped Almeda in his tracks. Almeda scores with a nice right hand.
Almeda walks into a straight right hand from Christ. Almeda fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Almeda takes a swing at Christ's ribcage but misses. Almeda tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Christ swivels and escapes. Almeda throws a right hand that misses
and Christ counters with a left hand that sends Almeda to the canvas! Almeda is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Almeda is trying to control the position but Christ postures up. Almeda is still in real trouble! Can Christ finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Christ stands up from Almeda's guard - Christ perhaps looking for a knockout. Almeda seems to have recovered his senses. Almeda fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Christ to the ground. Almeda is now in Christ's guard. Christ manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Almeda uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Christ has time to react. Christ rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Almeda moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Almeda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Christ swats him away and circles back towards the center. Almeda shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Christ counters with a big right hand! Oh Almeda is in trouble here! Christ follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Idaho has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Idaho looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nofud is one step ahead there. Nofud looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Idaho wants to improve his position but instead Nofud has moved into half guard.

Idaho is looking for a sweep. Nofud remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Idaho manages to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nofud trying to mount his opponent but Idaho defends it. Idaho is pressing down on Nofud's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Idaho is looking for a triangle but Nofud pushes his legs off easily.
Idaho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Idaho can't keep his opponent in guard - Nofud advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Idaho wants to sweep but Nofud has passed to side control! Idaho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nofud wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Idaho looking for a sweep but Nofud has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Idaho is in all sorts of trouble here.
Idaho looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Idaho breaks Nofud's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Idaho has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Nofud to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Idaho is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Nofud pulls down on the head and he's put Idaho to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chongching blocks a jab. Abrazos dodges the punch combination from Chongching.
Abrazos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chongching connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Abrazos momentarily.
It looks like Pablo Abrazos has been cut. Abrazos misses with a right hand and Chongching counters with a nice uppercut. Chongching throws a good cross that connects.
Abrazos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Abrazos just misses with a punch to the body.
Abrazos scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chongching in his tracks. Abrazos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chongching finds it's way round the side to connect with Abrazos's head. Chongching feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Abrazoss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Pablo Abrazos's cut is getting worse. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Abrazos throws a body shot but no joy. Abrazos pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Chongching throws a shot from downtown. Abrazos moves away and avoids it. A cross from Abrazos lands. Abrazos throws a right hand that misses
and Chongching cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chongching, as that shot connected.
Abrazos scores with a jab to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Abrazos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Chongching ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abrazos moves away. Chongching slips a jab and a cross from Abrazos.
Abrazos cracks Chongching with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Abrazos has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chongching to stand back up! Chongching is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chongching gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Abrazos points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Chongching wakes up just in time to hear Abrazos thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
