4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenord Marshall! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Castiglione misses its intended target. Marshall shoots in for a takedown but Castiglione shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Castiglione swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Castiglione stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Castiglione wants it to stay on the feet. Francis Castiglione seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Castiglione drops Marshall with a beautiful combination! Marshall stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Castiglione is looking for the KO!
It looks like Lenord Marshall has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marshall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Francis Castiglione has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lenord Marshall. Marshall looks for a takedown but Castiglione sprawls well. Castiglione misses with a few strikes there.

Castiglione tries to get to full guard but Marshall has control of the leg. Marshall is trying to control. Castiglione wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Marshall wants to work for an arm triangle but Castiglione is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! T tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hakala swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hakala drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. T sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. T won't allow Hakala to pass to mount. T trying to control here.
T wants to get back to his feet.
T looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hakala controlling the pace. T actively working from the bottom here. Hakala stalling. Hakala working T over with strikes. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hakala is trying to control the action in half guard but T is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hakala looks gassed! Hakala is thwarting T's attempts to control the position. T pushes Hakala off looking to stand but Hakala dives back in and keeps control.

Hakala wants to pass the guard but T is keeping the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hakala scores with a decent looking elbow strike. T trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Hakala lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hakala really doesn't want to stay on the ground with T. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. T is trying to control the position but Hakala postures up. T looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hakala is one step ahead there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. T is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hakala's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hakala's back! Hakala manages to escape to his feet. T closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. T turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and T manages to end up in side control. T wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hakala, who protects the arm well. T decides to stand back up. T steps back and let's Hakala get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hakala fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but T avoids it really well and circles away. T tries to clinch up. The fight stays on the outside here - T looks like he's thinking about clinching though. T tries to clinch up but Hakala circles away and keeps his distance. T tries to clinch up. T fails in his attempt to clinch. Hakala throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around T's waist but T gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hakala off to one side. T takes the fight into the clinch. T misses with a hook. Hakala ducked under it nicely. T is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hakala. T moves in looking to clinch but Hakala pushes him off. T tries to clinch but Hakala is having none of it. T throws a sloppy head kick and Hakala moves out of range easily. T fails in his attempt to clinch. Johnny T is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Some wild striking there from T.
T tries to clinch up. T closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. T will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hakala up against the cage. Hakala drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A slow jab from T misses its intended target. T fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hakala, pushing him back against the cage. Nice elbow from T. T putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hakala in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. T scores with a knee to the head.
T is trying to trip Hakala. He has hold of a leg but Hakala is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. T persists though and gets the takedown into guard. T gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. T tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hakala swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hakala walks into a straight right hand from T. T defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hakala. Johnny T has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Makke Hakala. T clinches with his opponent.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hakala can do anything to dispel that myth. T tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Hakala. Hakala is staying active underneath T, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hakala avoiding damage under a succession of punches from T.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. T is looking to clinch. T takes the fight into the clinch. T content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hakala has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. T is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. T scores with a knee to the head.

Ruben Santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santana pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bernie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Santana can pounce on him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fight stays on the outside here - Santana looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bernie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Santana, pushing him back against the cage. Bernie lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Bernie lands an elbow just above Santana 's eye. Bernie digs a right hand into Santana's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Santana's gas tank. Bernie lands a good knee to the midsection. Santana won't want to take too many of those. Bernie lands on the inside with an uppercut. Bernie drags the fight down to the ground.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dresser misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dresser. putin does a little dance to reset his feet. Dresser rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but putin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A chopping leg kick lands by putin. Dresser misses with a double jab.
Dresser throws a nice looking combination but putin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dresser is on the wrong end of a nice combination from putin. putin tries to clinch but Dresser is having none of it. putin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
putin throws a series of punches but Dresser moves out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for putin.
Dresser is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. putin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by putin.
putin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dresser has time to react. Good leg kick by putin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dresser stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from putin. putin getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Dresser walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. putin throws a leg kick which misses Dresser's front leg but catches the back leg as Dresser tries to avoid it. Dresser slips a jab and a cross from putin.
putin feints and then cracks Dresser's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dresser down. Dresser tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. putin misses with a head kick.
putin lands a nice shot that snaps Dresser's head back.
putin is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's one minute gone in the round. putin lands a high kick!
Dresser is rocked! putin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A head kick by putin - that's a beauty! Dresser is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even putin can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Morton advances position into side control! Dzagoev gets back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Morton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dzagoev knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Dzagoev is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Morton not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mack fakes the leg kick and cracks Knox in the body. Mack throws a sloppy head kick and Knox moves out of range easily. Knox blocks a head kick by Mack.

Mack misses with a leg kick. Knox closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mack looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Knox! Mack throws some wild stikes that Knox manages to avoid easily.
Knox is trying to stand. Mack sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Mack swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Knox is now in Mack's guard. A big mistake from Mack there, giving up the dominant position! Knox is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

A close round but Johnny Mack will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mack is rocked! Knox lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Mack falls backwards - clearly groggy! Knox dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

I think Leshley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I am the Dominator. McGrady comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leshley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Bobby Leshley has been cut. Leshley tries to close the distance and clinch but McGrady swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Leshley throws a body punch but McGrady moves out of range. Donk. Leshley catches McGrady right on the button with a cross. A jab from Leshley finds it's way through McGrady's defenses.
It looks like Kelly McGrady has been cut. Leshley shoots for a double leg takedown but McGrady sprawls well. He's pushed Leshley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. McGrady lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leshley circles away quickly and effectively. Leshley darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! McGrady keeping control of the position. McGrady has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Leshley is working away from the top position though. Leshley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

and Kesler counters with a nice leg kick. Kesler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kesler lands with a cross. Kesler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wheldon. Wheldon misses with a jab to the body
and Kesler counters with an inside leg kick. Wheldon just misses with a punch to the body.
Kesler moves out of range of the strikes. Wheldon is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Wheldon throws a body punch but Kesler moves out of range. Kesler shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wheldon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kesler content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kesler gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Wheldon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kesler moves out of range of the strikes. Wheldon walks into a left hand. Wheldon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kesler circles away quickly and effectively. Wheldon takes a shot to the body in his stride.

and Kesler counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kesler lands with a straight right. Wheldon didn't see that one coming. Kesler scores with a nice head shot. Kesler fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wheldon. Kesler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wheldon misses the body punch and Kesler counters with a takedown into side control. Kesler is staying tight to Wheldon's torso, preventing him from escaping. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kesler lands a nice forearm strike. Wheldon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kesler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kesler is staying tight to Wheldon's torso, preventing him from escaping. Wheldon wants to get back to his feet. Kesler slows the pace down. Kesler stands up and beckons Wheldon to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wheldon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Kesler counter with a right hand. Kesler dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wheldon. That did some damage! Kesler moves into range and clinches up with Wheldon. Kesler has Wheldon pressed against the cage, preventing Wheldon from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kesler gets through Wheldon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kesler lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kesler. Kesler keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wheldon's efforts to push away. Kesler lands with a right to the head. A right handed body shot lands from Kesler.
Kesler lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wheldon backwards. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice body punch from Kesler. Kesler stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Kesler digs a right hand into Wheldon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Wheldon's gas tank. A short right from Kesler. Kevin Wheldon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kesler is leaning against Wheldon and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kesler cracks Wheldon with a nice body shot.
