Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kari Mountain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andor Kovacs! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick by Kovacs misses and Mountain counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kovacs avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Kovacs swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Mountain throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kovacs. Kovacs with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mountain to score with a decent uppercut. Kovacs lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mountain takes a step back to recover. Mountain throws a jab when Kovacs was well out of range. Kovacs shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kovacs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kovacs avoids the head kick by Mountain.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kovacs throws a low kick but Mountain moves out of range easily. and Kovacs cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mountain feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kovacss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Mountain takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kovacs missing with a left hand there. Mountain was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Mountain thuds his right hand into Kovacs's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kovacs throws a low kick, looking for Mountain's leg but Mountain calmly moves out of range. Mountain's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kovacs under the eye. Mountain tries to land a body kick and Kovacs counters by clinching up. Mountain prevents Kovacs from breaking the clinch. Mountain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mountain. Kari Mountain is winning the standup battle so far. Kovacs misses with a straight left. Mountain checks a leg kick nicely. Andor Kovacs has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mountain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zakrzewski did well to prevent West getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zakrzewski wants to control but West is keeping busy.
Zakrzewski tries to get to full guard but West has control of the leg. West takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Zakrzewski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but West pulls his head out easily. Zakrzewski tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. West keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. West really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. West has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. West knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zakrzewski on the ground. Zakrzewski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of West's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take West's back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Campbell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Campbell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anderson but Anderson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Campbell is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Anderson. A decent looking cross lands there for Anderson. Campbell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Anderson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Campbell thinking. Anderson scores with a punch to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Campbell sneaks out the side door and pushes Anderson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Anderson throws a right hand that Campbell ducks under and follows up with a left that Campbell also avoids with ease. Campbell on the wrong end of a nice hook. Anderson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Anderson wants the takedown. Campbell is fighting it off but Anderson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Campbell's guard against the cage. Anderson drops back looking for a leg! Campbell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Campbell manages to kick Anderson off! Anderson jumps back into Campbell's guard.
