Mata checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ware looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mata moves in looking to clinch but Ware pushes him off.
Mata throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Ware's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Mata dives in looking to finish as Ware flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Mata's strikes! Mata is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Ware's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Ware was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
