Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Darito Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyung Ho Kang! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang has Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.
Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but Kang turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kang jumps guard and drags Gracie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kang is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gracie is controlling him. Kang pushes Gracie off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie leaves Kang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kang wants to counter the offense by Gracie and move into the clinch position. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darito Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kang is trying to ground and pound but Gracie uses the momentary lack of control by Kang to regain half guard. Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gracie is not content to let Kang control the position. Kang is controlling the pace.

Kang postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kang working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gracie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kang has his hands clasped together but Gracie extends and breaks Kang's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracie.

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wet Milk! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milk tries to clinch but Figueroa is having none of it. Figueroa jabs Milk to the body, keeping him at a distance. Milk shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Milk showed some decent athleticism there. Milk wants to take a breather but Figueroa is having none of it. Figueroa tries to kick Milk off but Milk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Milk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Milk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Figueroa is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Milk wants to pass the guard but Figueroa is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figueroa wants to stand back up but Milk manages to pass into side control.
Figueroa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Figueroa tries to get out of the position. Milk prevents Figueroa from escaping the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Figueroa lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Milk. Figueroa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Milk. Figueroa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Milk backs up against the cage.

Figueroa went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Milk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Figueroa swivels and escapes. Milk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Figueroa fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Figueroa cracks Milk with a right hand to the side of the head. Figueroa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Figueroa goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Milk walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Figueroa lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Figueroa is working the combinations to good effect here. Left hook, right uppercut from Figueroa. Milk gets off balance looking for a body kick and Figueroa counters with a straight right hand. Figueroa is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Milk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Figueroa paws at him with a jab and circles away. Milk gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Figueroa. Milk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Figueroa sprawls well. Figueroa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Milk gets slowly back to his feet. Figueroa slips a jab and a cross from Milk.

Nice sprawl there from Figueroa as Milk shoots in. Figueroa is looking for a counter combo. Milk has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Figueroa misses with a jab, cross combination.

Figueroa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Milk's hands. Figueroa is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A left and a right from Figueroa both land. Nice combination. Figueroa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Figueroa wants it to stay on the feet. Milk on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Milk misses with a jab, cross combination.

Danga de danga de dang - Figueroa scores with a four punch combination! Milk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Figueroa paws at him with a jab and circles away. Milk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Figueroa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Milk has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Figueroa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Figueroa fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Figueroa throws a one two combo.

Milk had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Figueroa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Figueroa stuffs the takedown. Milk looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Figueroa! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Figueroa tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Figueroa really wants to buck Milk off and get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Figueroa dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Good exchange - Figueroa coming out on top. A jab from Figueroa finds it's way through Milk's defenses. Milk fails with the takedown enabling Figueroa to counter with a crisp jab. Milk tries to move into range but Figueroa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Figueroa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Josh Figueroa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Milk darts in looking for a takedown but Figueroa gets double underhooks and turns Milk into the cage. Milk takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Good exchange - Figueroa coming out on top. Figueroa lands with a shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Figueroa getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Figueroa scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Figueroa throws a one two combo.

Figueroa cracks Milk with an open hand slap. Milk walks into a left hand. Figueroa connects with a looping right hand.

Milk drops his hands momentarily and Figueroa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Milk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Figueroa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. It looked like Figueroa was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Milk takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Figueroa scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Figueroa scores with a decent looking hook. Milk dodges the punch combination from Figueroa.
Milk takes one to the chin there. A shot to the liver by Figueroa. Beautiful body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Milk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Figueroa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Figueroa wants to get back to his feet but Milk is dominant here and he's now got Figueroa's back! Figueroa wants to get back to his feet. Good control from Milk.

Wet Milk has got the better of the ground game so far. Figueroa is trying to stand back up. Figueroa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Milk on the ground. Milk sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Figueroa taps out!
