The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watanabe misses with a wild combination.
Chmielewski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Watanabe tries to avoid it but Chmielewski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Watanabe to the ground. Watanabe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Watanabe throws a series of strikes that have Chmielewski backpedaling.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chmielewski tries to reverse the position but Watanabe maintains control.
