 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva wants to clinch but Mamba slips to the side and Mamba counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking. Silva misses with a combination
and Mamba counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Silva looks winded!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasashi gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Huang counters with a single leg into guard. Hasashi didn't expect that. Huang wants to control from the top but Hasashi keeps moving. Hasashi wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Huang manages to pass to side control. Hasashi is trying to stand.

Huang goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hasashi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Huang but great work by Hasashi.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Huang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hasashi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Huang is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hasashi off and has taken his back! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Huang wants to control but Hasashi is keeping busy. Hasashi covering up well under a barage of strikes. Huang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Oooh a big shot gets through from Huang. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Our spies down at at Squirrel Sports 🐿️ inform us that Huang has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Hasashi covering up well under a series of strikes from Huang.

Usum Gal looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Oulibera! Usum Gal takes a little break here. Oulibera wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Oulibera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Usum Gal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Usum Gal tries to advance to mount but can't. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Usum Gal seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. As Tokita looks to move away, Chidios throws a big counter combo but Tokita just gets out of the way. Tokita tries to clinch but Chidios moves away and Chidios counters with a left and a right that stings Tokita. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chidios lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tokita has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tokita and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Tokita throws a combination that misses and Chidios counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The fight stays on the outside here - Tokita looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chidios tries to counter by clinching up but Tokita breaks away and moves out of range.  That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tokita throws a combination. Chidios tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tokita throws a head kick that misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chidios is defended easily by Tokita. Tokita misses with a wild combination.
Coach Chidios is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chidios fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Chidios circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tokita tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chidios paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tokita throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tokita stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Coach Chidios. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tokita feints a jab promting Chidios to slip. Tokita then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chidios slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Tokita is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tokita throws a nice head kick!

Chidios closes the distance and clinches up with Tokita, looking for a takedown. Chidios pushes Tokita against the cage but Tokita circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chidios tries to move into range but Tokita moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Tokita pulls out of a head kick attempt.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Tokita lands a head kick. Chidios smiles back at him and beckons him forward. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chidios takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice takedown defense from Tokita. No joy for Chidios on that attempt. Chidios takes a kick to the side of the head. Tokita misses with a jab, cross combination.
A combination from Tokita does no damage. Tokita will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chidios shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ohma Tokita dominated that fourth round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Chidios or perhaps it was just good defense by Tokita, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tokita tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chidios tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tokita is able to avoid easily. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Chidios takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Tokita tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

It looked like Chidios was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Tokita lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Chidios misses with a takedown attempt - Tokita sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Coach Chidios. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tokita scores with a head kick.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Tokita trying to control but Chidios is working from the bottom. Tokita wanted to stand there but Chidios had control of the position. Tokita looking to sit in guard and control but Chidios gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tokita might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chidios haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Tokita is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A slapping body kick lands there for Tokita. Tokita pulls out of a head kick attempt.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sutton is looking to clinch but Kang is avoiding it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sutton enables Kang to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sutton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kang stands up from Sutton's guard - Kang perhaps looking for a knockout. Sutton is looking to clinch but Kang is avoiding it.
Kang drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sutton defends it well. Some wild striking there from Sutton.
Kang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kang showed some decent athleticism there. Kang working over Sutton with some ground and pound. Sutton looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sutton taking some punishment here, with Kang in his half guard. Sutton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kang on the ground.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sutton is wriggling around but Kang manages to pass to half guard.
