The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Visa misses with a takedown attempt

and Cheesmo counters with a single leg into guard. Visa didn't expect that.

Visa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cheesmo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cheesmo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Visa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cheesmo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cheesmo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Visa has an active guard here but Cheesmo has managed to pass into half guard.

Good leg kick by Cheesmo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Visa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cheesmo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Scissors comes to the cage accompanied by Paper Cut - Linkin Park. Ishi Kiki told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
