 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whyte Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Von Lewinksi's shoulder, as Von Lewinksi tries to avoid the shot. Von Lewinksi tries to move into range but Whyte Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Whyte Jr throws a shot from downtown. Von Lewinksi moves away and avoids it. Von Lewinksi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Von Lewinksi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Whyte Jr throws out a powerful jab. Whyte Jr thumps Von Lewinksi with a low kick. We've been hearing reports that Von Lewinksi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Whyte Jr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Von Lewinksi needs to keep his hands up - Whyte Jr had a free shot at his head there. Von Lewinksi shoots in for a takedown but Whyte Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. With a record of 14 - 38 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jennson Jameison! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magee throws a body shot but no joy. Jameison fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jameison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Magee pinned against the cage. Magee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Magee seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Magee lands a big right hand that sends Jameison crashing to the mat! Magee stays standing though and waves Jameison back to his feet!
It looks like Jennson Jameison has been cut. Jameison is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jameison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Magee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Magee lands a slapping body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jameison moves out of range as Magee strikes. Magee throws a leg kick but Jameison moved away. Magee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Booger Magee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Magee punishes Jameison's body with a nice straight punch. Jameison looks winded! Magee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jameison manages to avoid it.
Magee cracks Jameison with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Magee has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jameison to stand back up!
Jameison is rocked! Magee feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Jameison crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Booger Magee! After winning the bout, Booger Magee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seagal throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Silva walks into a straight right hand from Seagal. Sloppy strikes from Seagal. Those never looked like landing. Silva is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Seagal. Steven Seagal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva scores with a body shot.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kangas lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Damato is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kangas. Kangas misses the shot to the body. A decent looking cross lands there for Damato. Damato throws a leg kick but Kangas sees it coming and checks it nicely. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kangas - that will leave a mark!
Kangas lands with a straight right. Damato didn't see that one coming. Kangas loads up on a big right hand but Damato slips the punch. Damato sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Kangas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Damato. Kangas with a hook. Damato gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kangas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kangas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Tapani Kangas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Damato throws a right hand that Kangas ducks under and follows up with a left that Kangas also avoids with ease. Kangas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Damato moves away. Nice jab there from Kangas. We've been hearing reports that Damato has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kangas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Damato. Damato is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Kangas scores with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Kangas slips a jab from Damato. A lazy left from Kangas finds it's target. Kangas has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

A nice side step and Kangas releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Kangas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Damato tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kangas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kangas swings for the body but Damato moves out of range.
Damato on the wrong end of a nice hook. Damato displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kangas throws out the jab. Damato throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Damato acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kangas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Damato looks to land a right hand but Kangas moved out of range. It seemed like Kangas was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. An inside leg kick lands from Kangas. Damato on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kangas fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kangas missing with a left hand there. Damato was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Damato gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kangas. Damato throws a right hand that misses
and Kangas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Damato tries for a takedown but Kangas circles away easily and Kangas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kangas scores with a nice strike. Kangas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Damato doesn't seem bothered though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Damato might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Kangas checks a low kick from Damato. Damato tries to land a leg kick but Kangas saw it coming and moves away.

Horrible takedown attempt by Damato or perhaps it was just good defense by Kangas, which made it look bad. Kangas throws a leg kick which misses Damato's front leg but catches the back leg as Damato tries to avoid it. Kangas throws a nice inside leg kick. Damato misses with a straight left.

Damato sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kangas's guard. Damato is keen to just control but Kangas is a slippery customer.

Damato is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kangas is just riding it out for now. Damato eventually gives up the hold. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kangas wants to improve his position but Damato is controlling well.

He's controlling the position at the moment. Kangas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Damato. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kangas wants to control but Damato is keeping busy.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tzeng drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tzeng jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tzeng stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Redd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Tzeng wants to control but Redd postures up. Redd cracks Tzeng with an elbow. That is naaassty. Redd working the ground and pound. Tzeng can't do much from the bottom here. Redd happy to just control the position for now. Redd lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tzeng down.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Redd is trying to get an arm triangle but Tzeng is defending well. Redd has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tzeng is looking to reverse the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Kodiyak Redd showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Redd, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Craven bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Craven controlling from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jan prevents Craven from moving into mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jan tries to bench press Craven off him but Craven keeps the position. Craven advances nicely into full mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Destin Craven dominated that round. That's time! Craven's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jan takes a kick to the side of the head. Jan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Craven closes the distance and lands a one-two. Craven is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jan can do to turn this around? Jan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Craven scores with a head kick. Jan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Jan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Jan is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters circle, before Craven throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Jan's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Craven lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Destin Craven decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
