With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis Lewson! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Chris Dean and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewson takes a swing at Gooman's ribcage but misses. Nice shot by Lewson. It looks like Boohan Gooman has been cut. Lewis Lewson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lewson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lewson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gooman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lewson's guard. Gooman connects with a couple of short punches. Gooman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gooman sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gooman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewson tries to sprawl but Gooman drives through with a takedown into half guard. Gooman gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Gooman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gooman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lewson taking some punishment here, with Gooman in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gooman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Gooman seems to be working for a kimura but Lewson defends the submission attempt. Gooman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Gooman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lewson has managed to free his arm - good work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gooman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lewson defend it? Gooman steps over the head and cranks it - Lewson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gooman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bujaia gets a takedown into half guard. Hester misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Hester wants to improve his position but Bujaia is controlling well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hester looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bujaia wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bujaia takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hester gets back to full guard.
Hester knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bujaia on the ground. Bujaia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bujaia passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hester takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bujaia working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hester wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Bujaia seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Hester is tapping! Wow, great finish!

Kukju Bujaia opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holloway pushes Lewson up against the cage in a clinch. Holloway has clasped his hands together around Lewson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Holloway connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lewson some visible discomfort.
Lewson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Holloway looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lewson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lewson tries to get to full guard but Holloway has control of the leg. Lewson is still trying to improve position. Holloway knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lewson on the ground. Holloway seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Lewson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holloway is working away from the top position though. Lewson manages to get to full guard.
Holloway won't allow Lewson to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holloway doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holloway manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lewson is on top in guard.
Lewson passes Holloway's left leg - he's now in half guard. Lewson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Holloway defend it? Lewson steps over the head and cranks it - Holloway is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lewson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewson lunges at Fccfu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fccfu's hand. It looks like Vxdgh Fccfu has been cut. Lewson clinches. Fccfu is trying to break the clinch but Lewson is controlling him. Fccfu avoiding damage as Lewson throws knees to the body.
Fccfu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lewson smiles and moves away.
Lewson clinches with his opponent.
Lewson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fccfu.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lewson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fccfu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lewson cracks Fccfu with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Fccfu falls to his knees and Lewson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Lewson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Andrade looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. De Andrade throws a series of punches but Salinas moves out of range. De Andrade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Salinas feints and as De Andrade raises his hands in defense, Salinas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Salinas scoring with punches to the head and body. Salinas passes easily into side control. Nice work. A lull in the action here as Salinas stalls from top position. De Andrade takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
De Andrade tries to get back to half guard but can't. De Andrade is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salinas controlling from side mount. Salinas scoring with punches from side control. Salinas takes a little break here. De Andrade wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Salinas is working De Andrade over with some ground and pound from side control. De Andrade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salinas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Salinas is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. De Andrade is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gap jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Elliss walks into a stiff left hand from Gap. Elliss takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gap scores with a jab to the jaw. Elliss wants to clinch but Gap slips to the side and Gap counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gap fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Elliss is rocked! Elliss clinches up against the cage. Oh Elliss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Elliss tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Elliss seems to have got his legs back now. Elliss displaying some good clinch control by pressing Gap up against the cage. Elliss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gap lands a big uppercut and Elliss crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Elliss looks OK. Gap waves Elliss back to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gap cracks Elliss with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Elliss shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gap connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Elliss doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Gap changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Gap, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Elliss tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gap defends well and Elliss ends up having to push Gap into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Elliss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Elliss rushes Gap and presses him up against the cage. Gap swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Elliss is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gap to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Elliss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Elliss stalling.
Gap fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Elliss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gap connects with a nice looking jab.
Gap scores with a decent looking hook. Gap cracks Elliss with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gap has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Elliss to stand back up! Derrian Gap is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! Elliss gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Gap points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Elliss wakes up just in time to hear Gap thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
