Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Slant Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hans Hansen! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Alec Ball.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Grant does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Grant takes a jab right on the kisser.
Grant lands a head kick!
Hansen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Grant throws a head kick that Hansen semi-blocks.
Grant throws a low kick but Hansen avoids it. Grant is looking to slow Hansen down with leg kicks. Grant misses with a head kick.
A good leg kick by Grant. Grant defending well as Hansen loads up on a big left hand. Grant uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hansen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grant tries a head kick but it misses.

A head kick misses from Grant. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hansen! But no joy. Grant uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hansen.
Hansen moves out of range of the body kick. Grant tries to work over Hansen's front leg with a kick but Hansen checks it. Slant Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grant goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Hansen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Grant attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Grant misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hansen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grant. Nice defenses there by Grant. Hansen jabbing away but nothing is landing. Grant looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hansen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slapping leg kick lands for Grant.
Grant throws a lazy head kick and Hansen counters with a left to the body. Grant looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Grant has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Grant there as he acknowledges the shot. Grant misses with a low kick.
Hansen throws a big shot that misses. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hansen checks a leg kick. Grant throws a low kick but Hansen moves out of range easily.
Hansen rushes Grant and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant is looking to control Hansen's arms but Hansen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Grant has his back to the cage. Nice body punch from Hansen - that landed with a thud.
Grant's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Grant tries to work over Hansen's front leg with a kick but Hansen checks it. Hansen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Hansen avoids the head kick by Grant.
Grant throws a low kick but Hansen moves out of range easily. Grant definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Grant ducks right into an uppercut from Hansen.
Hansen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hansen scores with an uppercut up the middle. A short left from Hansen. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Hansen stalling.
Hansen receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Hansen lands a shot to the body.

Hansen manages to break the clinch.
Hansen misses with an uppercut. Grant saw that one coming. As Hansen backs away, Grant returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Grant throws the kick towards the body but Hansen avoids it. Grant pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Grant throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hansen. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Grant misses with an attempted mid kick.
A leg kick checked by Hansen. Hansen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hansen forces Grant back against the cage and clinches. Hansen lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Grant stalling in the clinch but Hansen improves position. Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hansen breaks the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Grant. Grant takes one on the button. A low kick lands for Grant.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hans Hansen will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Grant is rocked! Grant staying out of range there. Grant throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hansen. Hansen checks a leg kick nicely. Hansen lands with a right hand. Oh Grant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hansen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grant throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Grant seems to have got his legs back now. Hansen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Grant lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hansen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hansen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Hansen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hansen throws a monster overhand right that drops Grant! Hansen follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lambe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jones's head backwards. Lambe with a jab. Lambe circles away from the clinch attempt and Lambe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Lambe's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Jones falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Hauser throws a looping overhand right but Horace ducks down to avoid it. Horace ducks under a wild hook from Hauser. Horace misses with a leg kick letting Hauser counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horace throws a series of punches but Hauser moves out of range. Horace throws a right and a left that Hauser avoids nicely. Hauser swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Hauser cracks Horace with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The fighters circle momentarily. Horace darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hauser darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hauser is trying to maintain a safe position but Horace gets an underhook and turns Hauser into the cage. Horace pressing his opponent against the cage. Hauser struggles to land a body shot inside as Horace controls his hands.

Horace pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hauser loads up on a big right hand but Horace slips the punch.
Horace gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hauser wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Horace manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Horace has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hauser doesn't defend quickly enough and Horace has managed to lock this one up! Can Hauser escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Horace on a fantastic submission victory.

Michaud is still in real trouble! Can Yagan finish him? Michaud is looking to improve his position.
Yagan tries to stand but can't do so whilst Michaud controls his leg. Yagan prevents Michaud from improving his position. Yagan performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Michaud seems to have recovered his senses. Yagan wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Michaud uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Yagan with a flurry of punches that miss. Michaud looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Michaud can do anything to dispel that myth. Michaud wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Michaud's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Yagan trying to control the position from guard on top but Michaud is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Michaud utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Michaud is controlling Yagan's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yagan wants to control from the top but Michaud keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Michaud seems keen to control Yagan's posture.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Yagan moves out of range of the body kick. Michaud throws a predictable looking body shot
and Yagan counters with a nice uppercut. Yagan checks a leg kick nicely. Michaud throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Michaud scores with a one two! Yagan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kossu Kutvonen. Well Kutvonen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
