Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Floyd Gayweather! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lukasz Patryk! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patryk gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gayweather lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Lukasz Patryk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gayweather throws a right hand that Patryk ducks under and follows up with a left that Patryk also avoids with ease. Patryk tries to counter by closing the distance. Patryk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gayweather counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Patryk down! Gayweather is looking to finish but Patryk is intelligently defending himself. Gayweather controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Patryk wants to sweep but no luck. Gayweather is in close to Patryk's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Patryk is rocked! Gayweather gets to his feet and stands over Patryk, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Patryk felt that one! Gayweather unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Patryk from any more punishment!

With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aleksandr Zuev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan David Franco! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franco scores with a one two! Zuev had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Aleksandr Zuev has been cut. Zuev fails to land the takedown. Franco fakes the leg kick and cracks Zuev in the body. A decent looking cross lands there for Franco. Franco goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Zuev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Franco as he jumps to the side.
Franco lands a big head kick that sends Zuev tumbling to the mat! Franco takes a step backwards and waves Zuev back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Zuev is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Franco throws a head kick that misses. Oh Zuev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Zuev. Zuev seems to have got his legs back now. Zuev taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Zuev avoids the head kick by Franco.
Franco misses with the combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zuev. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksandr Zuev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Franco lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Franco.

Franco slaps away a takedown attempt from Zuev, before circling back to the center of the mat. Zuev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Franco defends it nicely. Zuev slips under a jab. Zuev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Franco throws a right and a left that Zuev avoids nicely. Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zuev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Franco can do anything to dispel that myth. Zuev is looking to advance position but Franco won't allow it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turmarrov misses with a takedown and Atunes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Turmarrov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Atunes sprawls well. Atunes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turmarrov gets slowly back to his feet. A good leg kick by Atunes. Turmarrov with a lazy takedown attempt and Atunes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cavalho Atunes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexey Turmarrov. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atunes drops Turmarrov with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Turmarrov! Atunes dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

It looks like Mehdi Kanaani has been cut. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mercer checks a leg kick. Kanaani throws out a loose jab but Mercer uses good head movement to avoid it. Kanaani throws a big shot that misses. Mercer works the jab nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kanaani displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mercer. Mercer throws a nice inside leg kick.

Mercer darts in looking for a takedown but Kanaani gets double underhooks and turns Mercer into the cage. Kanaani drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mercer pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kanaani misses with a hook. It looked like Mercer was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kanaani throws a body punch but Mercer moves out of range. A little feinted left hand from Mercer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kanaani, as that shot connected.

and Mercer counters with a one-two to the body. Mercer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kanaani has time to react. Kanaani tries a low kick but Mercer avoids it. Mercer tries to close the distance and clinch but Kanaani swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kanaani takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kanaani throws a looping overhand right but Mercer ducks down to avoid it. Kanaani connects with a jab. Mercer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Mercer's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mercer duly obliges.

Mercer lands a leg kick that knocks Kanaani off balance momentarily. Mercer works over Kanaani's head and body with a nice combination. Nice uppercut lands for Mercer. That snapped Kanaani's head back.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shrute has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shrute there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice uppercut there from Anderson. Anderson lands an overhand right. Some wild striking there from Anderson.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mazepin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bjornsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut. Mazepin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mazepin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bjornsson pulls his head out easily. Mazepin looks winded! Bjornsson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bjornsson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mazepin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That has opened up Fedor Mazepin's cut even more. Bjornsson is nestled in close to Mazepin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
