Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tap Out! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cedric Velez! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnem�ki, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa J�rvil�inen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velez tries to clinch up but Out circles away and keeps his distance.
Out manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Velez on his heels. He'll look to pass Velez's guard now, I'm sure. Velez keeping moving, preventing Out from controlling successfully. Velez wants to sweep but no luck. Velez is looking to sweep but instead, Out has passed into half guard.
Velez tries to kick Out off but Out keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Velez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Out trying to pass the guard but Velez defending well. Velez is refusing to be controlled, as Out sits in half guard.

Out is looking for a kimura but Velez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Out to get the leverage. Velez is not content to let Out control the position.
Velez kicks off Out and gets to his feet. Out tries to close the distance and clinch up but Velez swats him away and circles back towards the center. Velez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Out tries to score a power double leg takedown but Velez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Out somewhat. Nice sprawl there from Velez as Out shoots in. Velez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Out sprawls well. Out wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Velez gets slowly back to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Out tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Velez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Velez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Out, who protects the arm well. Out is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Velez wants to control but Out is keeping him busy. Velez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Velez showed some decent athleticism there. Out is trying to control but can't.

Out is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Velez sees it coming and defends easily. Velez is looking for a sweep. Out is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Velez trying to control from the bottom.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Out missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Out has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Velez works to full guard. Velez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Out. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Out trying to control the position from guard on top but Velez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Out got a little sloppy there for a moment and Velez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Out has managed to get both his arms back between Velez's legs - danger averted. Out wants to pass the guard but Velez is keeping the position.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Out looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Velez has his takedown stuffed and Out counters with a three punch combo that has Velez backing up. Velez nods at Out to acknowledge the strikes. Velez blocks a head kick by Out.

Cedric Velez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Out throws a jab when Velez was well out of range.

Khan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kang definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
