Hernandez fails with a takedown attempt.
McSorley tries to counter with a takedown but Hernandez is quick to defend against it.

Hernandez moves forwards but McSorley connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. McSorley engages and cracks Hernandez with a massive lead left hook - Hernandez tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! McSorley is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Nielsen is trying to push Clay away but Clay has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Clay breaks the clinch.
Nielsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Clay swats away the attempt to clinch by Nielsen.

Clay seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Clay closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nielsen's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ross Clay will probably get the nod.

Clay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Clay has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Clay and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Costa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lewis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
