These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ferocido Del Toro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Isai Malaki! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Toro lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Del Toro getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Malaki takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Del Toro with the inside leg kick. Del Toro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Malaki throws a hook but Del Toro avoids it easily. Malaki works Del Toro's body with a nice hook. A left lands for Del Toro. Del Toro turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Del Toro misses with a kick to the body and Malaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Malaki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Del Toro lands with a nice body punch. Del Toro misses with an uppercut. Malaki saw that one coming. Del Toro lands a jab to the head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Del Toro. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Malaki! But no joy. Good exchange - Del Toro coming out on top. A nice leg kick from Del Toro, right into the meat of the thigh.

Malaki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Del Toro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Malaki on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Del Toro loads up on a big right hand but Malaki slips the punch. Malaki throws a head kick that misses. Del Toro darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Del Toro with a hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Malaki throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Del Toro counters with a straight right hand. Malaki gets off balance looking for a body kick and Del Toro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Malaki throws a leg kick but Del Toro sees it coming and checks it nicely. Malaki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Malaki takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Toro scores with a jab. Malaki acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Del Toro lands a nice shot to the body.
Del Toro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Del Toro looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Malaki appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Malaki steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Del Toro. That one must have hurt. Del Toro connects with a good right hand that stumbles Malaki. Malaki circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Del Toro throws a half hearted mid kick. A shot to the liver by Del Toro. Beautiful body shot. Del Toro scores with a punch to the head. A head kick by Del Toro misses and Malaki counters with a lovely straight right hand! A jab from Del Toro does it's job there. It looks like Del Toro has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. This has been an exciting period of action! Malaki with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Malaki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Del Toro.
Jab, jab by Del Toro - just one landing. Malaki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Del Toro. A countering left hand to the body from Malaki misses. Del Toro jabbing away but nothing is landing. Malaki misses the body punch and Del Toro counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Malaki tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Malaki throws a right hand that misses
and Del Toro counters with an outside leg kick.
Malaki takes a swing at Del Toro's ribcage but misses. A big right from Del Toro misses. Malaki looks to score with a jab to the body but Del Toro is just out of range. Malaki takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ferocido Del Toro dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Malaki pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A quick step to the side and Del Toro tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Del Toro connects with an inside leg kick. Malaki walks into a stiff left hand from Del Toro. Malaki ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Malaki misses with a hook
letting Del Toro counter with a right hand. Del Toro wants to land a leg kick but Malaki is out of range. Del Toro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Del Toro is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Malaki can do to turn this around? Malaki throws a leg kick but Del Toro sees it coming and moves out of range. As Malaki backs away, Del Toro returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Malaki connects with a body shot that sends Del Toro's belly button to the back. Malaki avoids the head kick by Del Toro.
Del Toro throws a nice inside leg kick. Del Toro wants to slow Malaki down by chopping away at his legs. A countering left hand to the body from Malaki misses.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Del Toro misses with a leg kick enabling Malaki to counter with a crisp jab. Del Toro feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Malakis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Del Toro looks to land a body kick but Malaki moved away. Del Toro lets loose with a powerful body kick. Malaki will feel that in the morning. Del Toro scores with a nice strike. Malaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Malaki slips a jab from Del Toro. Malaki doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Malaki is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Malaki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Malaki moves out of range of the body kick from Del Toro.

and Malaki counters with a leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Some bone on bone action there as Malaki checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A low kick from Del Toro is predictable there and Malaki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Del Toro loads up on a big right hand but Malaki slips the punch. Malaki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Del Toro. A slapping leg kick lands for Del Toro.
A nice leg kick lands there from Del Toro. Ferocido Del Toro is winning the standup battle so far. Del Toro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Del Toro connects with a body shot. Del Toro misses with a wild body shot. Malaki throws out a counter right but Del Toro avoids it with no problem.

Malaki throws a combination that misses and Del Toro counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Del Toro avoids the body shot from Malaki.
Malaki misses with a straight left. Malaki misses with a looping left. A low kick from Malaki misses and Del Toro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Del Toro lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Ferocido Del Toro dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Del Toro was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Malaki has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Del Toro. Malaki throws an overhand right that lands on Del Toro's shoulder, as Del Toro tries to avoid the shot. Malaki throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Del Toro's head. A low kick from Malaki is predictable there and Del Toro counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Malaki looks to land a body kick but Del Toro moved away. Del Toro connects with a jab. Del Toro lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Malaki throws the left hand but Del Toro avoids the punch easily.

It seemed like Malaki was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Del Toro throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Malaki counters with a left to the body. Malaki swings for the body but Del Toro moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Del Toro on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Del Toro connects with a solid leg kick. Malaki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ferocido Del Toro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Del Toro throws a quick inside leg kick.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Malaki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Del Toro. The crowd cheers as Del Toro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Malaki doesn't seem phased though. Del Toro is looking to slow Malaki down with leg kicks. Del Toro throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Malaki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Del Toro uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Malaki has time to react. Malaki avoids the head kick by Del Toro.
Some bone on bone action there as Del Toro checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Del Toro tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Malaki is able to avoid easily. Del Toro sizes up Malaki with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Malaki throws a solid leg kick but Del Toro takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Malaki. Malaki lands a really nice looking cross but Del Toro seems unphased.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Toro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Malaki's sensitive parts. Del Toro scores with a jab. Isai Malaki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Malaki gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Del Toro. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A chopping leg kick lands by Malaki. Del Toro throws a lazy right hand but Malaki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A nice leg kick lands there from Del Toro. Malaki dips to his left and cracks Del Toro with an uppercut! Del Toro lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Del Toro throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Malaki's head. Del Toro lands a leg kick that knocks Malaki off balance momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! Ferocido Del Toro showed his dominance in that final round. Well Del Toro has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korhonen throws a nice outside leg kick. Herman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Korhonen feints a counter leg kick. Nice defenses there by Herman. Herman appears to be looking for a big counter. Korhonen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Herman tries to clinch up but Korhonen circles away and keeps his distance. Korhonen thumps Herman with a low kick. Herman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Herman shoots for a double leg takedown but Korhonen sprawls well. He's pushed Herman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Korhonen scores with a kick to the body.
Herman shoots in looking for a takedown but Korhonen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Herman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hanung Herman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Korhonen lands with a hook. Herman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Korhonen lands a high kick!

Herman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Korhonen avoids it really well and circles away. Korhonen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Korhonen slaps away a takedown attempt from Herman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Herman throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Korhonen throws a counter combo. Herman has his takedown stuffed and Korhonen counters with a slapping leg kick. Korhonen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Herman.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Korhonen. No joy for Herman on that attempt. Korhonen lands the left hand. Korhonen cracks Herman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Aanti Korhonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Korhonen leaves Herman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Aanti Korhonen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Korhonen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Herman misses with a low kick as Korhonen jumps back. Korhonen connects with an inside leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Herman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Herman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Herman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Herman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A slapping body kick lands there for Korhonen. Herman is breathing heavily. Herman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Korhonen tries to avoid it but Herman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Korhonen to the ground. Korhonen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Herman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Herman is rocked! Herman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Korhonens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Oh Herman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Korhonen throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Korhonen lands an overhand right. Good leg kick by Korhonen. Korhonen circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Herman to the canvas! Herman doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Korhonen keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Binkowski is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in James's half guard. Binkowski seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Binkowski trying to control from half guard but James is working away. James makes his way to full guard. A much better position for James. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Binkowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. James trying to keep a closed guard but Binkowski is proving a slippery customer.
James told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asakura lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Ftank Rank has been cut. Nice uppercut lands for Asakura. That snapped Rank's head back.
Asakura throws a sloppy head kick and Rank moves out of range easily. Rank is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Nice sprawl there from Asakura as Rank shoots in. A lazy left from Rank finds it's target. Rank on the wrong end of a nice hook. Asakura lands a nice looking body shot.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lindsey.

Lindsey won't allow Jung Bin to sweep him here. Jung Bin keeping moving, preventing Lindsey from controlling successfully. Jung Bin is pulling down on Lindsey's head. It's preventing any offense from Lindsey, at least for the moment. Lindsey is looking to stand up but Jung Bin won't let him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jung Bin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lindsey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jung Bin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lucian Lindsey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jung Bin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lindsey's guard.

With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Mertel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Montserrat Chai! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Chai walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Chai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Chai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mertel. Mertel dodges the punch combination from Chai.
The fighters circling - Chai throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mertel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Mertel attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Chai misses with a head kick.
Chai moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chai checks a leg kick. Mertel misses with an uppercut
and Chai counters with a lovely shot to the body. Mertel misses the jab. Mertel looks to score with a jab to the body but Chai is just out of range. Chai throws a jab but it's blocked by Mertel. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mertel. Mertel staying out of range there. Chai throws a low kick, looking for Mertel's leg but Mertel calmly moves out of range. Chai lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Chai keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A punch combination from Mertel misses. Chai counters with a body kick. Chai takes one on the button. Good exchange - Chai coming out on top. Mertel scores with a punch to the head. Chai connects with a high kick. Chai is looking to slow Mertel down with leg kicks. Mertel jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chai throws a body shot but no joy. Chai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mertel. Mertel throws a hook but Chai blocks it. Chai throws a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chai lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mertel's sensitive parts. Chai drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Chai throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mertel on the side of the head. Mertel misses with a right hand and Chai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Chai connects with a looping right hand.
Mertel wants to stay close but Chai steps back to make room for something. Mertel seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Chai and Mertel drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Montserrat Chai! Montserrat Chai decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Drummond digs a right hand into Makunouchi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Makunouchi's gas tank. Drummond tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Makunouchi just stands there and leans against the cage. Drummond can't find room to land a body shot as Makunouchi controls the action.

Drummond lands a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drummond swings wildly with an uppercut but Makunouchi uses good head movement to avoid it. Drummond's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Drummond misses with the head strike.

Makunouchi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drummond has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Makunouchi has managed to get both his arms back between Drummond's legs - danger averted.

Drummond is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Makunouchi is aware though and is defending well. Makunouchi stopping the sweep attempt from Drummond. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drummond had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Makunouchi defends it easily.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Drummond ducks right into an uppercut from Makunouchi.
It looks like Deebo Drummond has been cut. Drummond walks into a stiff left hand from Makunouchi. Makunouchi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Drummond defending well as Makunouchi loads up on a big left hand. It looked like Drummond wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Makunouchi displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Makunouchi throws a jab but it's blocked by Drummond. Drummond is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Makunouchi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Drummond doesn't seem bothered though. Makunouchi looks to score with a jab to the body but Drummond is just out of range. Drummond takes a body punch but keeps moving. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Deebo Drummond dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Is there anything that Makunouchi can do to turn this around? Makunouchi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ippo Makunouchi seems to be getting the better of the standup. Makunouchi on the wrong end of a nice jab. Makunouchi scores with a jab to the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drummond avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drummond was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Drummond looks to land a body kick but Makunouchi moved away.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Drummond thuds a left hand into Makunouchi's body. Drummond fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Makunouchi is breathing heavily. Drummond connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Makunouchi out cold! This one is over in a flash!
