Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wayne Lift!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Khalid Mustofa!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lift scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheers as Lift lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mustofa doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Khalid Mustofa has been cut.
Mustofa fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lift was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mustofa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wayne Lift seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mustofa shoots in for a double leg but Lift sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lift lands a left and a right that send Mustofa crashing to the mat, dazed. Lift thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mustofa is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mustofa throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mustofa is still on wobbly legs! Can Lift finish him?
Mustofa fails with a takedown attempt.
Wayne Lift has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khalid Mustofa.
Mustofa closes the distance and clinches up with Lift, looking for a takedown. Mustofa pushes Lift against the cage but Lift circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lift is looking to counter punch.
Mustofa tries a head kick but it misses.
Mustofa seems to have recovered his senses.

Lift lands a big right hand that sends Mustofa crashing to the mat! Lift stays standing though and waves Mustofa back to his feet!
Mustofa looks winded!
Lift weaves into range and cracks Mustofa right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Mustofa goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Lift is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wayne Lift!
