Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronny Reeve!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Renas Dag!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dag jabs at Reeve's body.
Dag looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Reeve takes the fight into the clinch.
Dag fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Reeve is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dag to keep the fight standing.

Reeve gets control of Dag's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reeve will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dag wants to get up but he can't break Reeve's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Reeve keeping moving, preventing Dag from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reeve is controlling Dag's posture.

Dag stands up from Reeve's guard - Dag perhaps looking for a knockout.

Reeve drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Reeve tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Dag is not content to let Reeve control the position.
Reeve is staying tight to Dag's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Dag can't do much from the bottom here.
Reeve in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Reeve is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dag has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dag dodges the ground and pound from Reeve.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dag struggling a bit here.

Reeve tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reeve has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reeve has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dag!
Dag is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Reeve will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Reeve tries to control but Dag wriggling away.
Reeve scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dag?
Reeve tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Dag is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Reeve tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Reeve wants to clinch.
Dag throws out a counter right but Reeve avoids it with no problem.

Reeve has Dag up against the cage in a clinch.
Reeve tries a body shot but Dag blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reeve has Dag pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Reeve pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dag tumbling to the mat - Reeve dives into Dag's guard.
Dag is looking to stand back up but Reeve counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dag.

Dag pushes Reeve off looking to stand but Reeve dives back in and keeps control.
Dag is looking to get back to is feet but Reeve passes into side control.
Reeve working the ground and pound but Dag is defending the strikes.
Reeve landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
You can see the frustration on Dag's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Reeve is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dag will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Reeve is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dag can do to turn this around?

Reeve lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dag down.
Dag is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reeve is controlling him well.
Dag takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

A lull in the action here.
Reeve tries to score with some ground and pound. Dag controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Dag being controlled for a moment.

Reeve throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Reeve thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Reeve content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Reeve is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dag is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dag on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Reeve tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ronny Reeve dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Dag gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dag pushes Reeve off and gets back to his feet.
Reeve fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dag flicks out a counter leg kick but Reeve steps away.
Reeve throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reeve scores with a takedown into Dag's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reeve is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Dag looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Reeve is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dag is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Reeve is looking to work some ground and pound but Dag has wrist control.
Dag wants to stand but Reeve is controlling the position.
Dag can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reeve controls the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Reeve tries to clinch there but Dag circles away.
Dag lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Ronny Reeve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dag throws a right and a left that both miss.

Reeve instigates a clinch.
Reeve displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dag up against the cage.

Reeve breaks from the clinch.
Dag connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Reeve's hands.
Dag throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Reeve on the side of the head.

Reeve shoots in and drives through. Dag sprawls well.

Reeve looking to score a takedown here. Dag is defending well but Reeve drives through and ends up in Dag's guard.
Dag wants to get back to his feet but Reeve passes into half guard.

Reeve trying to control from half guard but Dag is working away.
Reeve passes the guard and advances to mount!
Reeve controlling his opponent.

Reeve breaks from Dag's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Reeve is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dag has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Reeve controlling the position easily from mount.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ronny Reeve.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reeve, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
