 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esperanza connects with a good right hand that stumbles Davidson. Davidson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Esperanza connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Davidson's hands.
Davidson clinches up with Esperanza and pushes him back against the cage. Davidson lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Esperanza throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Davidsons head. Esperanza tries to break free but Davidson pushes him back against the cage.

A decent looking cross lands there for Esperanza. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Esperanza looks to land a combination. Davidson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Davidson is rocked! Esperanza steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Davidson is out on his feet! Esperanza sets himself and nearly takes Davidson's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, NG Ngngng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Teshima Ryuu! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryuu lands a glancing blow to the side of Ngngng's head. Ngngng moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ngngng stuffs the takedown. Ngngng misses with a takedown attempt and Ryuu counters with a right hand to the body. Ryuu ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ngngng slips a straight right by Ryuu. Ryuu missing with a left hand there. Ngngng was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ngngng shoots in looking for a takedown but Ryuu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ngngng's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Teshima Ryuu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ngngng fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for NG Ngngng. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ngngng tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ngngng shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ryuu defends it nicely. Ryuu leaves Ngngng with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fight moves into the clinch position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryuu scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Ngngng breaks from the clinch.
Ryuu clinches up against the cage. Ryuu wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ngngng has him pressed against the cage. Ryuu misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ryuu has had enough of the clinch but Ngngng keeps him there for the moment. Ryuu misses with some punches.
Ryuu swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ryuu gets through Ngngng's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ngngng escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ryuu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ngngngs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ngngng on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jab from Ryuu. Ryuu stuffs the takedown.
Ryuu gets tackled into the cage by Ngngng. Ngngng maintains the clinch. Ryuu blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Ngngng throws a punch but it's blocked by Ryuu. Ryuu misses with some punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head punch blocked on the inside by Ngngng. A body shot lands from Ryuu.
Ryuu presses Ngngng against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ryuu lands with a right to the head.
Ngngng breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ryuu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ngngng walks into a left hand. Ryuu connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ngngng. Ngngng circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ngngng scores with a nice strike.
Ryuu has Ngngng up against the cage in a clinch.

Ngngng's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ryuu throws a big shot that misses. Ryuu scores with a hook.

and Ngngng counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A quick uppercut on the inside from Ryuu. Ryuu misses with a body punch.
Ryuu wants to break free but Ngngng has control.
Ryuu lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ngngng backwards. Ryuu prevents the takedown attempt.
Ngngng manages to break the clinch.
Ngngng steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ryuu. Ryuu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Ryuu rushes Ngngng and presses him up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ryuu misses with a short punch on the inside. Ryuu misses with a hook from the clinch. Ngngng blocks an uppercut.

Ryuu scores with a hook to the body. Ngngng takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ngngng takes a body punch but keeps moving. A slow jab from Ryuu misses its intended target. Ryuu tests Ngngng's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ngngng tries to clinch up and Ngngng takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ngngng is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ryuu cracks Ngngng with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ngngng tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ryuu pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ngngng is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Wiggins dips to his left and cracks Newman with an uppercut! Wiggins bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Wiggins digs a good hook to Newman's body.

Wiggins is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Newman had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. That kick from Wiggins tenderised Newman's leg. Newman is trying to keep his angry face on. The fighters circling - Wiggins throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A big left from Wiggins misses. Newman is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Newman wants to land a leg kick but Wiggins is out of range.

It looks like Alex Newman has been cut. Wiggins fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Newman to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Newman looks to clinch but Wiggins throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Newman taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Boone feints the counter takedown. Dfg thuds his right hand into Boone's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dfg throws a leg kick
and Boone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boone. Boone connects with a couple of short punches. Boone controls from within his opponent's guard. Dfg is looking to stand up but Boone isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boone postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dfg wants to get back to his feet but Boone is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dfg will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dfg's head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Boone controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dfg is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boone is controlling him.

Abc Dfg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sloppy strikes from Dfg. Those never looked like landing. Dfg closes the distance and lands a one-two. Dfg misses with a body shot.

and Boone counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dfg! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boone working the body and head with strikes. Dfg prevents Boone from improving position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dfg wants to get back to his feet but Boone drags him back down. Boone lands an elbow. Boone looks up at the clock and then as Dfg takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Boone smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Dfg is rocked! Boone working the body and head with strikes. Oh Dfg is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boone has an Americana. Dfg didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boone is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boone hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ben Boone opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Hudson closes the distance and clinches. Cahill is trying to pull guard but Hudson has him pressed against the cage. Hudson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cahill drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hudson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kataski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fury sprawls well. Fury wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kataski gets slowly back to his feet. A nice inside leg kick there by Fury. That's going to slow Kataski down.
Kataski shoots in and gets a takedown into Fury's guard. Kataski lands a couple of elbows. Kataski postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kataski works over Fury with some ground and pound from guard. Fury utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fury wants to stand and escape but Kataski is having none of it. Kataski trying to control but Fury is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fury is looking to stand up but Kataski isn't so interested in that idea.
Fury pushes Kataski off and gets back to his feet.
Nice uppercut lands for Fury. That snapped Kataski's head back.

Kataski closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fury quickly recovers to half guard. Fury is refusing to be controlled, as Kataski sits in half guard. Fury pushes Kataski off looking to stand but Kataski dives back in and keeps control.
Kataski lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Fury wants to get back to his feet.
Kataski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kataski is nestled in close to Fury, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fury tries to kick Kataski off but Kataski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fury on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kataski slows the pace down in half guard. Kataski is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fury is rocked!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kataski connects with a nice short shot to Fury's temple. Oh Fury is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kataski prevents Fury from standing back up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kataski lands a nice short elbow. Kataski is nestled in close to Fury, controlling him well. Fury pulls Kataski in close trying to recover. Kataski postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fury on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Gibbs looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kataski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kataski trying to hold on to Gibbs's head to control him but Gibbs postures up.
