Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Oumardipov (ranked 25014 p4p, 3838 weight class) and Jan Jebak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oumardipov comes into the arena with In My Hood - 50 Cents blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Felix Oumardipov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Jebak! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ben Hemmingworth and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Oumardipov is defended easily by Jebak. Jebak clinches with his opponent.
Oumardipov lands a takedown into guard.
Jebak is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Oumardipov presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Oumardipov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Oumardipov is trying to force a seperation but Jebak has the dominant position. Jebak jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Oumardipov walks away with a smile on his face. Jebak gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Oumardipov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jebak misses with a body punch
and Oumardipov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. It looks like Jan Jebak has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jebak tries for a takedown but Oumardipov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oumardipov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jebak's half guard. Oumardipov slips a nice elbow through Jebak's hands, connecting with Jebak's forehead. Jebak is looking to improve his position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Oumardipov lands a nice short elbow. Jebak is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jebak blocking the ground and pound attempt from Oumardipov. Jebak has hold of Oumardipov's hands but Oumardipov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oumardipov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jebak looks winded! Oumardipov working the head and body with strikes. Oumardipov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jebak flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Jebak is trying to stand.
Oumardipov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jebak doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Oumardipov. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oumardipov landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Oumardipov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Oumardipov working over Jebak with some ground and pound. Jebak looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oumardipov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Oumardipov passes the guard and advances to mount! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jebak tries to reverse the position but Oumardipov maintains control. Oumardipov raining down hammerfists from mount. Oumardipov lands a heavy elbow. Oumardipov with the ground and pound from mount. Oumardipov cracks Jebak with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jebak is rocked! Whack. That's a big, big shot from Oumardipov! Jebak is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Felix Oumardipov! In his post fight interview, Felix Oumardipov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
