The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katsu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and River counters with a shoot takedown. Katsu fights it but they end up in guard.
Katsu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
River is standing up over Katsu. Katsu looks to escape but River dives into side control.
River has hold of Katsu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Katsu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - River cranks the arm and Katsu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Katsu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
