Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Logan Mahoney (ranked 2918 p4p, 3572 weight class) and Jack Mehoff (ranked 338 p4p, 393 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Logan Mahoney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Mehoff! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mahoney tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mehoff paws at him with a jab and circles away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mahoney fails with an attempt to clinch.

Mehoff has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Mahoney displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mehoff throws out the jab. Mahoney is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mehoff. Mahoney takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mehoff connects with the punch. Mahoney closes the distance but Mehoff moves to the side enabling Mehoff to counter with a crisp jab. Mahoney keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Mehoff's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mahoney under the eye.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mehoff! But no joy. Mahoney tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mehoff counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mahoney is looking to clinch but Mehoff is avoiding it.

We've been hearing that Mason has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Highlander wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nha throws a body punch but Park moves out of range. Park looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Donk. Nha catches Park right on the button with a cross. Park uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nha.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Park throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nha scores with a shot to the body.

It looks like Elvis Park has been cut. Nha moves into range and connects with a jab. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nha throws a body shot but no joy.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strickland throws a lazy head kick
and Yoo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Yoo. Yoo working some strikes from top position. Strickland keeping moving, preventing Yoo from controlling successfully.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Strickland manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
