Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Grothberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anzhar Mazvedov! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazvedov gets a double leg takedown into Grothberg's guard.
Mazvedov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Grothberg misses with a takedown attempt - Mazvedov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mazvedov changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Mazvedov tries to clinch up. Mazvedov lands a front kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Mazvedov tries to land knees in the clinch but Grothberg avoids the damage to the body.
Grothberg breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grothberg gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mazvedov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Grothberg is looking to stand up but Mazvedov isn't so interested in that idea.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mazvedov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Grothberg is looking for a triangle but Mazvedov pushes his legs off easily.
Mazvedov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Grothberg will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Grothberg moves in looking to clinch but Mazvedov pushes him off. Grothberg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mazvedov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Grothberg manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mazvedov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grothberg can't do much from the bottom here. The referee asks Mazvedov politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mazvedov prefers to stall for the moment though.
Mazvedov decides to stand back up. Mazvedov steps back and let's Grothberg get back to his feet. Grothberg's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Grothberg duly obliges.

Nicolas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harvey gets slowly back to his feet. Ezequiel Nicolas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Harvey shoots in looking for a takedown but Nicolas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Harvey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close round but I would say that Ezequiel Nicolas will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Harvey pulls Nicolas in to control the position. Harvey tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nicolas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Harvey is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nicolas defends well.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nicolas prevents Harvey from improving his position. Harvey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nicolas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nicolas's back! Nicolas trying to control the action but Harvey just sinks the hooks in. Nicolas is trying to stand back up.

Harvey patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Harvey has the hooks in. Nicolas is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Nicolas looking very determined here, making life difficult for Harvey.
I really don't envy Nicolas right now.

Harvey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Harvey tries to keep control of the position but Nicolas is staying busy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Harvey misses with an elbow to the head. Harvey struggling to land strikes to the head as Nicolas covers up. Harvey is trying to stick to Nicolas's back but Nicolas is turning into Harvey. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Harvey's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Nicolas. Harvey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nicolas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harvey swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nicolas slips nicely into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Harvey is trying to maintain the position but Nicolas is very close to passing his half guard. Harvey works his way to full guard. Good work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Austin Harvey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Nicolas tries to counter with a takedown but Harvey is quick to defend against it. Nice takedown defense from Nicolas. No joy for Harvey on that attempt. No luck for Nicolas with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezequiel Nicolas. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harvey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ezequiel Nicolas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Austin Harvey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nicolas throwing hammer fists to the chest of Harvey. What's that going to do exactly?

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patrick lands with a nice body punch. Enroll moves into range and connects with a jab. Patrick catches Enroll with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Enroll throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Enroll is trying hard to land a takedown here. Patrick sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Patrick lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Enroll misses the jab. Patrick seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Patrick throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Enroll on the side of the head. Enroll misses the jab. Patrick thumps Enroll with a low kick. Enroll misses the body punch and Patrick counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Enroll closes this distance looking for a takedown but Patrick circles away. Patrick scores with a punch to the head. Patrick digs a good hook to Enroll's body.
Enroll takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Enroll throws a body shot but no joy. A slow jab from Enroll misses its intended target. Patrick is looking for a counter combo. Patrick delivers a nice body kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Enroll throws an off balance right hand
and Patrick counters with a nice uppercut. Patrick uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Enroll.

That's going to take a lot out of Rick Enroll. Patrick thuds his shin into the meat of Enroll's side. Patrick lands with a nice body punch. Enroll misses with a body shot
and Patrick cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Enroll shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Patrick sprawls well. Patrick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Enroll gets slowly back to his feet. Enroll looks winded! Patrick scores with a spinning back kick! Patrick pushes Enroll away with a front kick. Patrick throws a nice inside leg kick. A cross from Patrick lands. Enroll misses with a lunging right hand

and Patrick counters with a straight right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Patrick scores with a shot to the body.

Enroll is rocked! Enroll stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Patrick. Enroll is still on wobbly legs! Can Patrick finish him? Patrick moves into range and connects with a jab. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Patrick. Enroll shrugs it off though. Patrick drops Enroll with a straight right hand, right on the button! Patrick follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Muratov. A nice side step and Grady releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. A looping hook to the body misses from Grady. Muratov does a little dance to reset his feet. Grady throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Muratov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Muratov is trying to push Grady away but Grady has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Grady swings wildly with an uppercut but Muratov uses good head movement to avoid it.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cobonski doesn't manage to clinch there - Machin circles away.
