Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee De Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying De Jesus's choice of entrance music: agi agi song. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adrian Lima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee De Jesus! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Jesus throws a head kick but Lima moves out of range.
Lima avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Lima darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Lima is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so De Jesus is just riding it out for now. Lima eventually gives up the hold. Lima is trying to control the action in half guard but De Jesus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lima perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. De Jesus trying to control from the bottom.
Lima seems to be working for a kimura but De Jesus defends the submission attempt. Lima is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De Jesus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lima.

De Jesus wants to stand up but Lima is controlling him. Lima drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and De Jesus dives on top into guard. Lima not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. De Jesus lands a couple of digs. De Jesus throwing strikes from guard but Lima blocks nicely. De Jesus connects with a couple of short punches. Lima avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Jesus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lima is looking to sinch up a triangle. De Jesus throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lima's body to avoid the submission. Lima has instead reached around De Jesus's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lima arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oakston throws a quick inside leg kick. Alves closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Oakston wants to control the action here but instead Alves manages to pass to full mount! Alves misses with a head shot. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Oakston tries to reverse the position but Alves maintains control. Alves lands a big shot there that rocks Oakston but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oakston wants to control but Alves is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alves lands a big elbow. Alves punching from mount but Oakston doing a good job of avoiding damage. Oakston is looking to get to half guard. Oakston wants to try and get back to his feet. Oakston is looking to improve his position but Alves isn't that keen on the idea. Alves working away from the top, dropping strikes. Alves chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Oakston can pounce on him.

Oakston is really struggling to control Alves but he's trying to hold on to the position.

DK Oakston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Alves. That was a close round but I would say that John Legal will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone lands with a cross. Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Stone feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lundgren's calf. Donk. Stone catches Lundgren right on the button with a cross. Stone tries to land a leg kick but Lundgren saw it coming and moves away.

Rocky Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lundgren has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Stone. Lundgren misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stone throws a nice outside leg kick. Lundgren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stone swivels and escapes. Lundgren takes a kick to the side of the head. Lundgren throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lundgren fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away. Rocky Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dolph Lundgren. Lundgren takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Stone lands with a nice body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone works the jab nicely. Lundgren walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Papa Shango dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Long checks the leg kick nicely there.
Long throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Long throws out a powerful jab. Long lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Shango wants to clinch but Long slips to the side and Long counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Shango throws a sloppy head kick and Long counters with a thumping low kick. Long doesn't manage to clinch there - Shango circles away.

Shango clinches but Long breaks the clinch and Long counters with a stiff right hand. Shango closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Long to the mat! Long manages to get full guard. Shango thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Shango drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shango jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Long throws his legs up looking for a submission but Shango uses it to pass to side control.
Shango has an Americana. Long didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shango is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shango hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
