 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilstrap shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dela Cruz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gilstrap missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gilstrap drops an elbow to the side of Dela Cruz's head. Gilstrap is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dela Cruz is looking to escape. Gilstrap missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Dela Cruz is looking to control Gilstrap's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dela Cruz avoid being mounted? Gilstrap lands strikes from half guard. Gilstrap landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Gilstrap drops an elbow to the side of Dela Cruz's head.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gilstrap is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gilstrap's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Dela Cruz is refusing to be controlled, as Gilstrap sits in half guard. Dela Cruz looks gassed! Gilstrap lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dela Cruz is trying to maintain the position but Gilstrap is very close to passing his half guard. Dela Cruz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gilstrap kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Gilstrap with shots to the head and body - Dela Cruz looks very uncomfortable down there. Gilstrap postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dela Cruz badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Gilstrap around the waist but Gilstrap pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Gilstrap is the winner by TKO! Gilstrap jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huang has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ginebra. Ginebra throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ginebra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ginebra doesn't manage to clinch there - Huang circles away.
Huang swats away the attempt to clinch by Ginebra. Huang on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Huang is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from Ginebra. Ginebra lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Huang crumples to the floor! Ginebra milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pretorian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Parr lands with a kick to the temple. Pretorian shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parr dives in and grabs Pretorian's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pretorian pushes down on Parr's head and hops out. Kratus Pretorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Wayne Parr. Pretorian misses with the combination.

John Wayne Parr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Parr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pretorian fights it off and pushes away nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! John Wayne Parr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Parr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tokugawa misses with a wild body shot. Ieyasu Tokugawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. West takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Tokugawa misses the shot to the body. A head kick misses from Tokugawa. A nice leg kick lands there from Tokugawa. Tokugawa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tokugawa throws a low kick, looking for West's leg but West calmly moves out of range. Nice uppercut there from West. Tokugawa misses with a low kick. West jabs at Tokugawa's body.
West scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tokugawa wants to control but West postures up. Tokugawa manages to work his way to half guard, despite West's best efforts. West prevents Tokugawa from improving his position. West throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tokugawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tokugawa looks like he's trying to stand up.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tokugawa tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nice jab there from West. West swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tokugawa feints and then cracks West's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow West down. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! West bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tokugawa's head backwards. Tokugawa takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Tokugawa is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down West rather than just go for the knockout. Tokugawa looks to score with a jab to the body but West is just out of range. West swings and misses with a hook to the body.

West connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. West bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tokugawa's head backwards. Tokugawa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tokugawa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but West paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts West, as that shot connected.
Ieyasu Tokugawa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! West connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. West throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
West shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tokugawa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Joe West overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tokugawa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. West wants to control from the top but Tokugawa keeps moving. West has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGrufus avoids the head kick by Nakamura.
McGrufus lands with an overhand left.
 It looks like Kenji Nakamura has been cut. McGrufus misses with a body shot.
McGrufus cracks Nakamura with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
 Nakamura is rocked! Nakamura uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGrufus.
Nakamura is still on wobbly legs! Can McGrufus finish him? McGrufus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nakamura seems to have recovered his senses.
McGrufus feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nakamura sprawling to the canvas! Nakamura rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McGrufus finish him?!
McGrufus throws a sloppy head kick and Nakamura finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nakamura uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGrufus.

McGrufus thows a body shot but no joy. McGrufus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nakamura manages to avoid it. Nakamura bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nakamura lands a head kick!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Nakamura looks gassed! McGrufus misses with a body shot.
McGrufus throws a body punch but Nakamura moves out of range. Nakamura blocks a jab. McGrufus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGrufus swings away with a body shot that misses
and Nakamura counters with a body kick that stops McGrufus in his tracks momentarily. A slapping leg kick lands for McGrufus.
McGrufus is looking to wear down Nakamura with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
McGrufus lands a big right hand that sends Nakamura crashing to the mat! McGrufus stays standing though and waves Nakamura back to his feet! A big right followed by a crushing left from McGrufus knocks Nakamura out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie checks a low kick from Bee. Gracie misses with a two punch combination.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gracie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bee - the referee stops the clock and Gracie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bee. Gracie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bee lands with a kick to the temple. Gracie shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Nice defenses there by Bee.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bee is looking to control Gracie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bee avoid being mounted?
Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
Bee is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Bee is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gracie is looking to advance position but Bee won't allow it.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bee trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Gracie is looking to work his way around to Bee's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Bee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground. Gracie wants to control the pace but Bee is squirming around nicely. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Maia Bee dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gracie throws a hook but Bee blocks it. Bee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bee swings away with a leg kick that misses. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bee, right into the meat.
Bee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Roland Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie misses with a looping left. Bee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gracie finds it's way round the side to connect with Bee's head. Gracie lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good exchange - Gracie coming out on top. Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Gracie misses with a looping left.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bee lands a head kick. Gracie smiles back at him and beckons him forward. A head kick misses from Bee. Bee lands with a nice body kick. Gracie swinging wildly here.
Maia Bee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bee throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Bee throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Bee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bee is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard. Bee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bee tries to get out of the position. Gracie slows the pace down in half guard. Gracie moves into full mount! Bee won't be happy about that! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Maia Bee will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie. Gracie misses with an uppercut. Bee connects with a solid leg kick. Bee takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Bee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gracie wants to take a breather but Bee is having none of it.
