The bell rings for round one and we are underway! davis stuffs the takedown. A big left from Vera misses. davis moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Vera goes down! Can davis finish him!?
Vera is rocked!
It looks like Matt Vera has been cut. davis arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Vera's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McPot is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McPot has taken the fight to the clinch.
McPot unloads a knee to the mid-section. Descartes lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. McPot tries a knee to the head but Descartes blocks it.

Descartes tries to work over McPot's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. McPot is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. It looks like Rene Descartes has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McPot avoiding damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Lang. Lang throws a head kick that misses. Lang looks to land a left hand but Giguere moved out of range nicely. Giguere thuds a left hand into Lang's body. A bone on bone clash there as Lang blocks the leg kick.
Lang walks into a stiff left hand from Giguere. Giguere motions for Lang to come forward. Giguere throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Giguere circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd cheers as Giguere lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lang doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Clubber Lang has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Giguere throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lang. Lang closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lang looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Lang looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lang leaves Giguere with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Giguere scores with a hook to the body. Lang takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lang is breathing heavily. A head kick misses from Lang. Lang throws a head kick but Giguere moves out of range.
Lang takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Giguere scores with a jab to the body. Giguere cracks Lang with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lang looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Giguere finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Giguere catches Lang with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Lang walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Giguere swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jericho shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hugo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hugo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hugo wants to stand but Jericho is controlling the position. Hugo is wriggling around but Jericho manages to pass to half guard.
Jericho decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Jericho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hugo's waist but Hugo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jericho off to one side. Hugo tries to clinch but Jericho moves out of range. Hugo misses with a low kick as Jericho jumps back. Hugo keeps Jericho at a distance using the push kick. Jericho lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Jericho fails with an attempt to clinch.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Danga de danga de dang - Hugo scores with a four punch combination! Hugo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hugo lands a glancing blow to the side of Jericho's head. Jericho shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jericho is working for a kimura but Hugo is defending it quite comfortably.
Hugo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hugo is defending against the submission attempts here by Jericho.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hugo is not content to let Jericho control the position. Jericho prevents Hugo from standing back up.
Hugo is trying to maintain the position but Jericho is very close to passing his half guard. Hugo wants to get back to his feet. Jericho wants to control but Hugo is keeping him busy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jericho lands a head kick. Hugo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hugo throws a series of punches but Jericho avoids them all with ease. Jericho throws a right hand that Hugo ducks under and follows up with a left that Hugo also avoids with ease. Hugo misses with a few strikes there.
Hugo instigates a clinch. Jericho breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hugo throws a series of punches but Jericho moves out of range. Hugo misses with a wild body shot. Hugo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jericho counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hugo's guard now. Jericho passes Hugo's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hugo wants to improve his position but Jericho is controlling well.
Jericho takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jericho is trying to work for a kimura but Hugo is defending well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hugo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jericho is controlling him. Jericho stands and steps away. Hugo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hugo slips a jab and a cross from Jericho.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hugo. Jericho does a little dance to reset his feet. Jericho has managed to clinch.

Hugo tries to circle away but Jericho has him pinned against the cage. Jericho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hugo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jericho counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jericho. Jericho trying to control but Hugo is working from the bottom. Jericho is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jericho wanted to stand there but Hugo had control of the position. Jericho prevents Hugo from getting back to his feet. Jericho gets to his feet. Hugo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hugo gets a takedown into half guard. Hugo missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jericho gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jericho throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Hugo wants to get up but he can't break Jericho's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hugo thows a big elbow that misses. Jericho manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hugo manages to get himself to full guard.

Hugo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jericho misses with a looping left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Jericho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Andrew Jericho's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Makunouchi but Makunouchi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Winner has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Winner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Makunouchi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Makunouchi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Winner. Winner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Makunouchi 's waist but Makunouchi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Winner off to one side.
