Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jorg Wegner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Laurel!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wegner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Laurel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Laurel moves into range and clinches up with Wegner.
Laurel's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Wegner blocks an elbow strike.
Laurel tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wegner avoids it.
Wegner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Laurel with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Laurel tries to land knees in the clinch but Wegner avoids the damage to the body.
Wegner avoids the elbow strike from Laurel, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laurel is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Laurel stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Laurel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wegner looks to land a right hand but Laurel moved out of range.
Laurel drops his hands momentarily and Wegner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
 It looks like Brandon Laurel has been cut.
Laurel misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wegner cracks Laurel with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Wegner has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Laurel to stand back up!
 Laurel is rocked!
Wegner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Laurel gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Wegner points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Laurel wakes up just in time to hear Wegner thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jorg Wegner!
