In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Robinho Junior! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Smalliver Twist! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Twist shoots for a takedown but Junior saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Junior half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Twist looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Twist or perhaps it was just good defense by Junior, which made it look bad. Junior feinted with a counter takedown. Robinho Junior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Smalliver Twist. Twist shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Junior pinned against the cage. Junior gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Junior half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Twist shoots in looking for a takedown but Junior manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Twist's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
