With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Dubrov! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dubrov swings widly with a right hand
and Dubrov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dubrov keeps the fight on the outside. Dubrov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Alexander Dubrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dubrov ducks right into an uppercut from Van Lierde. Van Lierde throws a jab but it's blocked by Dubrov. Dubrov throws a counter combo. Van Lierde takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dubrov misses with a straight right. Van Lierde throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dubrov connects with the punch. Dubrov lands a hook that stumbles Van Lierde back into the cage. Dubrov follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Van Lierde to the canvas! Dubrov pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Van Lierde has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Small. De Oliveira dives in for a single leg takedown but Small sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. De Oliveira keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Small with the inside leg kick. De Oliveira fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Small checks it well. Small bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Small slips a jab and a cross from De Oliveira.
Small clobbers De Oliveira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Small scores with a slapping inside leg kick. De Oliveira ducks right into an uppercut from Small. De Oliveira tries to clinch up but Small circles away and keeps his distance. De Oliveira takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Good exchange - Small coming out on top. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Oliveira ducks under a wild hook from Small. Small clobbers De Oliveira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Small throws a nice looking combination but De Oliveira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. De Oliveira takes a shot right to the bread basket. De Oliveira throws a right and a left that Small avoids nicely.

Small swats away the attempt to clinch by De Oliveira. Damari Small is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. De Oliveira misses with a low kick as Small jumps back. De Oliveira fails with the takedown and Small counters with a one-two to the body.

It connects and De Oliveira has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. De Oliveira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Small pinned against the cage. Small gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Small swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Small lands with a cross. Small scoring well with a low kick there.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. De Oliveira jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Small jabs at De Oliveira's body. Small circles away from the clinch attempt and Small counters with a nice uppercut. De Oliveira rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

He's pushed De Oliveira's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. De Oliveira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Small circles away. De Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Small swats him away and circles back towards the center. Small dips down and scores with a jab to the body. De Oliveira takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. De Oliveira shoots for a double leg takedown but Small sprawls well. He's pushed De Oliveira's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And Small counters with a quick kick to the body but De Oliveira blocks it. Small looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

De Oliveira has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. De Oliveira tries to clinch and Small counters with a stiff right hand. De Oliveira is trying desperately to land a takedown but Small is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for De Oliveira. Small throws a right hand that De Oliveira ducks under and follows up with a left that De Oliveira also avoids with ease. De Oliveira has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Small fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches De Oliveira on the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Small lands a head shot. John De Oliveira is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Small misses with a hook. Small lands an overhand right. De Oliveira shoots in but no luck this time. Small is looking to counter punch. De Oliveira shoots for a takedown but Small saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but De Oliveira might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Small has got the better of the exchanges. De Oliveira has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Small. De Oliveira walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. De Oliveira uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Small. Small scores with a shot to the body.

Small's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Small duly obliges. Small lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
De Oliveira takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Small throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Oliveira sees it coming and avoids it easily. Good standup being displayed there by Small as he connects with a hook. De Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Small sprawls well. Small wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. De Oliveira gets slowly back to his feet. Damari Small is winning the standup battle so far. De Oliveira fails with the takedown and Small counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. De Oliveira is breathing heavily. Small lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Small ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Small tests De Oliveira's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Good leg kick by Small. Small scores with a crisp jab that stopped De Oliveira in his tracks. Nice straight punches there by Small. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Small. De Oliveira dives in and grabs Small's left leg, looking for a takedown. Small pushes down on De Oliveira's head and hops out. Small is looking for a counter combo. Damari Small has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John De Oliveira. De Oliveira takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Small rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Oliveira moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Small connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. and Small counters with a straight punch to the midsection. De Oliveira walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. This has been an exciting period of action! De Oliveira lands a leg kick that knocks Small off balance momentarily. Small with a jab.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Small lands with a right hand. De Oliveira takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
De Oliveira is rocked! Small throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. De Oliveira is still on wobbly legs! Can Small finish him? De Oliveira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Small tries to avoid it but De Oliveira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Small to the ground. Small escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. De Oliveira seems to have recovered his senses.
De Oliveira is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Small's half guard. Small on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Small tries to get out of the position. De Oliveira prevents Small from standing back up.

De Oliveira is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Small to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Small shrugs it off. Small is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Small is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
You get the feeling that Small really doesn't like being in this position too much.

And that's the end of the fight! Damari Small showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Small, winning every round. Will the judges agree?  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibbs takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Case digs a good body shot into Gibbs's ribs.
Gibbs darts in and clinches Case up against the cage. Gibbs throws a punch but it's blocked by Case. Gibbs tries to score a body lock takedown but Case shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Case is defending well against a takedown attempt. Case makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Case breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gibbs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Case's guard. Case looking to control but Gibbs passes into half guard.
Case wants to improve his position but Gibbs is controlling well.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gibbs moves to the back. Gibbs controls the position. Case rolls, trying to escape but Gibbs keeps control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gibbs has good solid back control here. Gibbs's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Legend can do anything to dispel that myth.

Riddle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cordova was covering up waiting for the punch and Riddle finishes the takedown easily into guard. Cordova on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cordova tries to get out of the position. Riddle won't allow Cordova to get back to his feet. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Poopie Loopie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cerebral Gooner Jr! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loopie checks a leg kick. Gooner Jr tries to clinch there but Loopie circles away.

Loopie seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Gooner Jr is looking to slow Loopie down with leg kicks. Gooner Jr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Loopie. Gooner Jr throws a head kick but Loopie moves out of range.
Loopie moves out of range as Gooner Jr strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gooner Jr is looking to slow Loopie down with leg kicks. Gooner Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Gooner Jr scores with a nice body kick.
Gooner Jr feints and then cracks Loopie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Loopie down. A head kick misses from Gooner Jr. Loopie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gooner Jr fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Loopie checks it well. Loopie dodges the punch combination from Gooner Jr.
Loopie went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Gooner Jr misses with a double jab
and Loopie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Loopie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gooner Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Loopie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Loopie seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gooner Jr is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
