Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reilly Villegas! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villegas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Reilly Villegas has been cut. Dong cracks Villegas with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Dong lands an overhand right. King Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Villegas avoids a punch combination nicely.

Villegas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Villegas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dong has Villegas pulled in close to control his posture. You can see the frustration on Dong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dong tries to improve position but can't. Villegas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Smirnov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Manav is breathing heavily. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Manav can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like Kido Yasotaro has been cut. Nopegalev takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Yasotaro gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Yasotaro throws the left hand but Nopegalev avoids the punch easily. Nopegalev shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Yasotaro takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Nopegalev sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Yasotaro bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Baird drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clark seems a little lost for a moment, as Baird dominates the positioning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Baird wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like Baird might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Norton trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Jurab tries to free his leg and advance position but Norton is retaining full guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macias uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Clay has time to react. Macias works the jab nicely. Macias connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Clay momentarily.

Macias is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Macias tries to clinch up but Clay circles away and keeps his distance. Macias scores with a crisp jab that stopped Clay in his tracks. Clay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Macias is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Macias lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clay circles away quickly and effectively. Clay fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Macias avoids it really well and circles away. Macias tests Clay's chin there with a solid looking shot. Macias throws a right hand that Clay ducks under and follows up with a left that Clay also avoids with ease. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
