We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shelton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Char on the side of the head.
Char has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shelton steps in with a hook that catches Char right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Shelton follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Char looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cody Shelton!
A relieved looking Cody Shelton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
