Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adelard Laurent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Giga Chad!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chad throws the left hand but Laurent avoids the punch easily.
Laurent shoots in but no luck this time.
Laurent has his takedown stuffed
and Chad connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Laurent fails with the takedown.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chad! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adelard Laurent. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laurent shoots in looking for a takedown but Chad manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Laurent's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Laurent avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chad scores with a shot to the body.
Chad connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
 It looks like Adelard Laurent has been cut.
Chad jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laurent shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chad sprawls well. Chad wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Laurent gets slowly back to his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chad! But no joy.
Laurent tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Laurent somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chad misses with an uppercut. Laurent saw that one coming.
Chad moves into the clinch.
A short right from Chad on the inside.
Chad stops a takedown attempt from Laurent.
Chad drops Laurent onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Laurent is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Chad lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Laurent backwards.
 Laurent is rocked!
Laurent is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laurent avoids the elbow strike from Chad, against the cage.
Oh Laurent is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chad drops Laurent onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Laurent is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Adelard Laurent's cut is getting worse.
Chad creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Laurent's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Laurent drops to his knees and Chad pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Giga Chad!
A relieved looking Giga Chad thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
