Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kason Ray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Caden Hendrix!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hendrix lands with a hook. Ray tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hendrix lands a lovely overhand right.
Ray throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Hendrix counters with a single leg into guard. Ray didn't expect that.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Ray manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Hendrix has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ray regains guard immediately.

Caden Hendrix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hendrix wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Ray tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hendrix paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hendrix fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ray looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hendrix is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ray had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hendrix, as that shot connected.
Hendrix works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hendrix stuns Ray with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Hendrix lands the left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A lazy left from Hendrix finds it's target.

Ray moves forwards but Hendrix connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hendrix lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ray takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Caden Hendrix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ray gets a double leg takedown into Hendrix's guard.
Ray has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ray got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hendrix has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ray has managed to get both his arms back between Hendrix's legs - danger averted.

Hendrix is nestled in close to Ray, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
 Ray is rocked!
Hendrix lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Ray! More strikes land and this one is all over! Hendrix jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

An out of breath Caden Hendrix thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
