Biancolin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Biancolin misses with a takedown attempt - O Bradaigh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Biancolin tries to close the distance and clinch up but O Bradaigh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Sambo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
It seemed like Sambo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Sambo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nova can't keep his opponent in guard - Sambo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Nova wants to get back to full guard but Sambo has passed into side control.

Sambo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Nova has his hands clasped together but Sambo breaks the hold and Nova is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sambo!

Hayes fails to land with a series of punches.
Duke turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Duke pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Duke goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Duke throws a nice head kick!
Hayes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A punch combination from Hayes misses.
Duke explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Hayes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Duke under the eye.
Hayes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
