The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tama moves into the clinch.
Tama makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Van De Van is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Van De Van throws a knee to the head but misses.

Tama gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Van De Van wants to stand and escape but Tama is having none of it.
Van De Van really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tama. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tama controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Van De Van wants to stand up but Tama is controlling him.
Tama not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Van De Van is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tama dives into side control.

Van De Van is looking to get back to his feet here but Tama is keeping cool and he's managed to take Van De Van's back.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Fromm tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sillanpaa defends well and Fromm ends up having to push Sillanpaa into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sillanpaa tries to sprawl but Fromm drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Fromm takes a little break here. Sillanpaa wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asai circles away from the clinch attempt
and Asai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Markus Wachter has been cut.
Asai throws a body punch but Wachter moves out of range.
Wachter tries to close the distance and clinch but Asai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wachter tries to clinch there but Asai circles away.
Asai swats away the attempt to clinch by Wachter.
Asai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wachter tries to clinch up.
Wachter takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wachter misses with an uppercut
and Asai counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wachter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Asai cracks Wachter with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Asai has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wachter to stand back up!

Asai stuns Wachter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Wachter tries to get into range but Asai steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Wachter! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Asai scores the big KO victory!

A relieved looking Takashi Asai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
