The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Mann counters with a nice uppercut.
Mann lands a really nice looking cross but Diaz seems unphased.
Diaz shoots for a takedown but Mann saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt.
Nolan Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mann lands a head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mann circles away.
A counter left hand to the body from Mann misses its target.
Danny Mann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nolan Diaz.

and Mann counters with a right hand to the body.

Diaz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mann connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mann lands a slapping body shot.
Mann thuds a left hand into Diaz's body.
Diaz looks winded!
Mann scores with a body shot.
Mann drops Diaz with a naaaaasty hook - Diaz is in real trouble here! Mann dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
