Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Davin Irwin (ranked 2782 p4p, 26066 weight class) and Ryuhei Sawamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Davin Irwin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Davin Irwin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irwin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sawamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Irwin somewhat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Irwin uses his free foot to push down on Sawamura's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sawamura.
Sawamura is just holding on here. Irwin manages to take his back.
Sawamura is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Irwin off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Irwin is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Irwin has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Sawamura! Can he survive? No! He's out! Irwin gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
