Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jin Kuzama (ranked 4144 p4p, 3689 weight class) and Sendo Tackashei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sendo Tackashei will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jin Kuzama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sendo Tackashei! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Kuzama looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kuzama throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kuzama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tackashei paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tackashei takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nice takedown defense from Kuzama. No joy for Tackashei on that attempt. Kuzama is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tackashei fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kuzama avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tackashei fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jin Kuzama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sendo Tackashei.
Kuzama shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kuzama showed some decent athleticism there. Tackashei is looking to control Kuzama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tackashei avoid being mounted?
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tackashei flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kuzama content to control rather than advance. Kuzama's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Kuzama has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tackashei tries to get to full guard but Kuzama has control of the leg. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kuzama in particular looking to stall.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kuzama tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tackashei. Kuzama scores with a jab to the body.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tackashei looking to control.
Kuzama seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kuzama wants to pass the guard but Tackashei is keeping the position. Kuzama controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tackashei is looking for a triangle but Kuzama pushes his legs off easily.
Kuzama makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kuzama keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tackashei's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kuzama's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kuzama stays in close to Tackashei's body and controls the position. Tackashei is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kuzama slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jin Kuzama dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kuzama goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Tackashei tries to clinch up
and Kuzama counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tackashei avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kuzama landing some decent shots from guard. Kuzama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tackashei on the ground.

Jin Kuzama overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tackashei working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kuzama doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Tackashei is tightening it up a little... Kuzama has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kuzama reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kuzama taps out! Nice BJJ there by Tackashei!
