You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Di Monteggi is looking for a choke. Crane gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Crane manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Assmann doesn't manage to clinch there - Maru circles away.
As Assmann tries to get set, Maru tries to push him back and clinch up but Assmann manages to avoid the attempt.
Maru avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maru delivers a nice body kick.
Assmann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Maru lands a glancing blow to the side of Assmann's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maru tries to land a front kick but Assmann steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Assmann misses with a looping right.
Assmann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Maru circles away.
A lazy left from Maru finds it's target.
Assmann is rocked!
Maru circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Assmann to the canvas! Assmann doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Maru keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Di Monteggi wants to sweep but no luck.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Di Monteggi is on top in guard.


Lester has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Di Monteggi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lester.
Lester tries to bench press Di Monteggi off him but Di Monteggi keeps the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
