Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 158 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 152 - 35 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B.
Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Fighter A shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter B is trying to defend but Fighter A finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B is trying to maintain the position but Fighter A is very close to passing his half guard.

Fighter A is keen to just control but Fighter B is a slippery customer.
Fighter B is looking to improve his position.
Fighter B is not content to let Fighter A control the position.
Fighter B is controlling Fighter A's trapped leg to prevent Fighter A from advancing to side control.
Fighter A slows the pace down in half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fighter B slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter A, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter B.

Fighter B just content to control the position.
Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Fighter A tries to buck Fighter B off but Fighter B is having none of it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fighter B controlling the position from side mount.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fighter A has one of Fighter B's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sss Sss will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fighter A with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fighter B counters with an inside leg kick.

Fighter B scores with a takedown into Fighter A's guard.
Fighter A looking to control.
Fighter B's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Fighter B looking to pass the guard.
Fighter A is pulling down on Fighter B's head. It's preventing any offense from Fighter B, at least for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fighter A shoots and misses
and Fighter B counters with a one-two to the body.

Fighter A gets a takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B wants to get back to full guard.
Fighter B is pressing down on Fighter A's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fighter B wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Fighter B throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Fighter B controlling the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Fighter A showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fighter A.
Fighter A shoots in for a double leg but Fighter B sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fighter B fails to land the takedown.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Fighter A dives in and grabs Fighter B's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes down on Fighter A's head and hops out.
Fighter B counters with a body kick.
Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fighter A closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter B, looking for a takedown. Fighter A pushes Fighter B against the cage but Fighter B circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick.
Fighter B displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fighter A.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fighter A looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fighter A performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Fighter A prevents Fighter B from improving his position.
Fighter B keeps control of the position for the meantime.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Fighter A content to control rather than advance.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Fighter B has his takedown stuffed
and Fighter A counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fighter B takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Fighter B manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter A on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter A's guard now, I'm sure.
Fighter B is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
More stalling from Fighter B.
Fighter B cracks Fighter A with a solid left hand.
Fighter B won't allow Fighter A to sweep him here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter B slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sss Sss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
