Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dent's corner calls for a 1-2. Dent obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wood walks into a stiff left hand from Dent.
Wood fails to land the takedown.
It seemed like Dent was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dent lands a front kick.
Dent lands a really nice looking cross but Wood seems unphased.
Dent connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wood's hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wood on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Wood looks for a takedown but Dent sprawls well.
Dent appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Arthur Dent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arthur Dent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dent throws a lazy body kick
and Wood counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dent!
Wood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dent knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Wood goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dent is on top in guard.
