Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Asskren! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asskren tries to close the distance and clinch but Campbell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Asskren forces Campbell back against the cage and clinches. Asskren avoids a wild elbow strike from Campbell. With the fighters up against the cage, Campbell throws an elbow but misses. Asskren blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Asskren letting Campbell take a breather here. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Asskren. The referee calls for Campbell to work.
Campbell misses with an elbow over the top. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campbell throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Campbell gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Asskren wants to stall.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Asskren tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Campbell smiles and moves away.
Asskren fails with the takedown
and Campbell moves into the clinch. Asskren is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Campbell. Come on Campbell - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Campbell for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Asskren trying to stall but Campbell improves his position.

Asskren tries to pull guard but Campbell forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Cameron Campbell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Asskren. Campbell controlling the action here for a moment.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Cameron Campbell. Campbell tries to bum rush Asskren with a series of wild strikes but Asskren uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Asskren with a lazy takedown attempt
and Campbell counters by moving into the clinch. Asskren blocks the elbow strike.

Campbell gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Campbell engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Campbell lands a couple of elbows. Campbell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Asskren works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Asskren keeping moving, preventing Campbell from controlling successfully. Campbell stands up over Asskren, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Campbell stopping the sweep attempt from Asskren. Campbell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Asskren on the ground. Asskren looks winded!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell is stalling in the full guard. Campbell looking to pass the guard. Campbell trying to control but Asskren is working from the bottom. Campbell looking to sit in guard and control but Asskren gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell controlling the position. Campbell continues to stall. Campbell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Campbell keeping moving, preventing Asskren from controlling successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cameron Campbell dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Campbell gets the takedown into side control. Campbell cracks Asskren with an elbow. That is naaassty. Campbell lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Campbell landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Asskren is rocked! Campbell landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Asskren is still in real trouble! Can Campbell finish him? Campbell in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Asskren looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Campbell turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
