Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lilo Acosta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cade Bernard! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and William Gold.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acosta rushes Bernard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Acosta has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bernard regains guard immediately. Bernard working a defensive guard but Acosta passes into half guard.
Bernard wants to improve his position but Acosta is controlling well.
Acosta wants to take a breather but Bernard is having none of it. Bernard tries to get to full guard but Acosta has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Acosta is controlling the pace.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Acosta sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bernard defending well though. Bernard wants to control but Acosta is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bernard keeps control of the position for the meantime. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bernard can do anything to dispel that myth. Bernard is trying to control but can't.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Bernard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Acosta haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Acosta tries to clinch but Bernard moves out of range. Bernard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Acosta was well out of range. Poor timing from Bernard. Bernard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Acosta closes the distance and clinches up with Bernard, looking for a takedown. Acosta pushes Bernard against the cage but Bernard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Acosta is breathing heavily. Bernard throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Acosta colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Bernard as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Acosta is left battered and dazed whilst Bernard and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cade Bernard!
