The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Richardson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Richardson misses with a wild body shot. Richardson misses with a hook to the body
and Reynolds counters with a shoot takedown. Richardson fights it but they end up in guard. Reynolds showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Reynolds prevents Richardson from getting back to his feet. Reynolds controlling from the top position. Richardson is looking to stand up but Reynolds isn't so interested in that idea. Reynolds controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott Reynolds has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Reynolds shoots in and drives through. Richardson sprawls well. Richardson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Richardson throws a combination that misses and Reynolds counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Well, if Reynolds is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Reynolds has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Reynolds shoots in and gets a takedown into Richardson's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hardy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Browne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Browne thows a big elbow that misses. Hardy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hardy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hardy uses his free foot to push down on Browne 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Browne . Hardy quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hardy but it's paid off an Browne is forced to tap! Nice work by Hardy.

Tiriel slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hague 's guard. Tiriel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hague has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tiriel has managed to get both his arms back between Hague 's legs - danger averted. Hague is controlling Tiriel's posture. Tiriel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tiriel is pushing down on Hague 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hague is fighting to maintain full guard but Tiriel has managed to sneak the leg through. Hague is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tiriel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tiriel's back! Hague is looking for the choke from the back position but Tiriel is controlling his hands well.

Wildspeaker unloads with some shots from mount but Burgandy bucks and avoids them well.

Garruk Wildspeaker dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wildspeaker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Burgandy scores with a takedown into Wildspeaker's guard. Burgandy throws a strike but Wildspeaker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wildspeaker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burgandy is keeping the position for now. Burgandy shoots for a double leg takedown but Wildspeaker sprawls well. He's pushed Burgandy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wildspeaker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burgandy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Burgandy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Burgandy has Wildspeaker pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Burgandy pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Wildspeaker tumbling to the mat - Burgandy dives into Wildspeaker's guard. Wildspeaker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Burgandy manages to get himself to full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soujourner shoots in for a takedown but Welsh shows good takedown defense. Welsh scores with a nice head shot. Welsh lands a jab-cross combination. Welsh shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Soujourner eats them both and turns towards Welsh to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Welsh thuds his right hand into Soujourner's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Soujourner tries to work over Welsh's front leg with a kick but Welsh checks it. Welsh scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Welsh pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Soujourner back to the cage. Welsh follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Soujourner throws a body kick the misses and Welsh counters with a two punch combo. Welsh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A left and a right from Welsh both land. Nice combination. Welsh throws a series of punches but Soujourner avoids them all with ease. Welsh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Welsh drops Soujourner with a beautiful combination! Soujourner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Welsh is looking for the KO!
Soujourner is rocked! Welsh steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Soujourner is out on his feet! Welsh sets himself and nearly takes Soujourner's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quake throws the left hand but sinclair avoids the punch easily. sinclair swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. sinclair is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quake. A jab from Quake misses. Quake uses good head movement to avoid the hook from sinclair. sinclair misses with a hook
and Quake counters with a head kick that drops sinclair to the mat! sinclair scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. sinclair misses with a body punch

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Atom. Atom circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Adam Atom has been cut. Stoner throws a series of punches but Atom moves out of range. Atom throws a looping overhand right but Stoner ducks down to avoid it. Stoner misses with an uppercut. Stoner throws a right and a left that Atom avoids nicely. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Atom, as that shot connected.
Stoner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stoner. Stoner throws a series of punches but Atom avoids them all with ease. Atom clinches up with Stoner and pushes him back against the cage. Atom lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Stoner blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Stoner is trying to break the clinch but Atom is controlling him. A head punch on the inside from Atom fails to land. Atom misses with a punch on the inside.

Stoner misses with a looping right. Atom instigates a clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Atom landing strikes from the mount. Atom is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stoner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Stoner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Atom on the ground. Atom with a couple of short strikes. Atom with good strikes from the mount here! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Atom throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Atom is in the full mount, landing strikes. Stoner on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stoner tries to get out of the position. Stoner is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stoner blocking the ground and pound. Atom scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Stoner taking shots to the head. Atom landing strikes from the mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Atom postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stoner looks a forlorn figure.
Atom has hold of Stoner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stoner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Atom wants to finish this one by submission but Stoner is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Atom. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Atom cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Atom thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Atom trying to control but he's not successful this time. Stoner is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as Rogers blocks the low kick. Couture takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

A good leg kick by Couture. No luck for Couture with that takedown attempt. Couture lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Couture with a lazy takedown attempt and Rogers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Couture thinking. Rogers ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Couture looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rogers fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Couture tries to clinch and Rogers counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rogers looking to pass the guard. Couture engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rogers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by the natural Couture. Rogers cracks Couture with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A nice combination there by Rogers.
Rogers ducks right into an uppercut from Couture. Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Couture paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rogers throws an off balance right hand
and Couture counters with a lovely straight right hand! A big right from Couture misses. Rogers tries to clinch but Couture moves out of range. Rogers misses with a hook
enabling Couture to counter with a crisp jab. Rogers clinches up with Couture and pushes him back against the cage. Rogers lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Rogers goes for a takedown attempt but Couture pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Couture keeps the fight on the outside. A left and a right from Couture both land. Nice combination. Couture throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Couture takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. No joy there for Rogers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
the natural Couture showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on the natural Couture's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Rogers counters with a takedown into side control. Couture tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rogers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Couture can't do much from the bottom here. Couture prevents Rogers from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Couture manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Couture is thwarting Rogers's attempts to control the position. Couture thows a huge punch but Rogers dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Couture thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Rogers to regain full guard. Rogers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rogers tries to get out of the position. Couture trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers is trying to control the position but Couture postures up. Couture is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rogers is adopting a defensive guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Couture won't allow Rogers to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bett Rogers. I think Rogers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

James swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. James misses with a takedown attempt and Hogin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. James works his way to full guard. Good work. James is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hogin defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James keeping moving, preventing Hogin from controlling successfully. James being controlled here, momentarily. Hogin won't allow James to sweep him here.

James seems to be working for a kimura but Hogin defends the submission attempt.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hogin works his way back into a safe position though. Hogin won't allow James to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. James is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hogin is aware though and is defending well. James had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hogin defends it easily. James looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hogin is one step ahead there. Hogin's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hogin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hogin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hogin preventing the sweep. Hogin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Let's hope that Hogin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Hulk Hogin was stalling too much, according to the referee. James throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Hogin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in James's guard. James looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
James keeping moving, preventing Hogin from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but James has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hogin is looking to defend but James has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hogin! James pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hogin taps out and this one is all over!
