The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Markov with a lazy takedown attempt and badgernath counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sorrin Markov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Markov misses with a takedown and badgernath cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. badgernath looks to land a body kick but Markov moved away. badgernath throws a hook but Markov avoids it easily. Markov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and badgernath counters with a takedown into side control. barry badgernath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sorrin Markov. badgernath controls the position. badgernath cracks Markov with a big elbow. badgernath throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Markov works his way back to half guard. Ross leaves Mir with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ross throws a shot to the body.
Ross scores with a punch to the head. No luck for Mir with that takedown attempt. Rashawn Ross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Mir. Ross stuffs the takedown attempt from Mir. Mir gets slowly back to his feet. Mir moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A left lands for Ross. Ross drops Mir with a beautiful combination! Mir stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ross is looking for the KO!

It looks like Frank Mir has been cut. Mir looks gassed! Ross lands a brutal uppercut that launches Mir off his feet! Mir tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pippen's guard. Pippen wants to get back to full guard. Pippen throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Pippen ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Temppelikuningas shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Temppelikuningas is taking a breather. Pippen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Pippen trying to control here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Viktor Temppelikuningas wasn't active enough on the ground. Pippen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Temppelikuningas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Temppelikuningas. Temppelikuningas has gone for a leg lock! Pippen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Temppelikuningas's guard. Temppelikuningas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Scottie Pippen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pippen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Temppelikuningas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pippen. Viktor Temppelikuningas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Temppelikuningas keeping full guard, as Pippen tries to pass. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Temppelikuningas seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Temppelikuningas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Temppelikuningas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pippen sees it coming and defends easily. Temppelikuningas with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Viktor Temppelikuningas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Temppelikuningas winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Camozzi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
