Cash Pocket looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Horrible takedown by Cash Pocket or perhaps it was just good defense by Avleski which made him look bad.
Avleski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Avleski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Avleski cracks Cash Pocket with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Avleski goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cash Pocket is on top in guard.
Avleski has control of Cash Pocket's left arm, preventing Cash Pocket from doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Avleski wants to sweep here but Cash Pocket controlling him for the moment. Avleski trying to keep a closed guard but Cash Pocket is proving a slippery customer.
Avleski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cash Pocket manages to get himself to full guard.

Avleski drives through with a takedown into guard. Avleski working some strikes from top position. Avleski postures up and lands a big shot to Cash Pocket's brow. Cash Pocket utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Avleski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. A lull in the action here as Avleski stalls from top position. Cash Pocket tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Avleski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Avleski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cash Pocket, who protects the arm well.
Avleski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Avleski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Andrei Avleski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Avleski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Avleski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cash Pocket's head. Avleski slips nicely into half guard. Avleski tries to pass to full mount but Cash Pocket defends it. Cash Pocket tries to get to full guard but Avleski has control of the leg. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cash Pocket on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Avleski connects with a nice short shot to Cash Pocket's temple. Cash Pocket is staying active underneath Avleski, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Avleski is looking to advance position but Cash Pocket won't allow it. Cash Pocket tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Andrei Avleski has got the better of the ground game so far.

Caholic tries to close the distance and clinch but Favier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Favier swats away the attempt to clinch by Caholic. Caholic is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Caholic fails with the takedown. Favier shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Caholic throws a right and a left that Favier avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caholic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Al Caholic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Favier misses with a series of wild punches.

Caholic is working to avoid the ground and pound but Favier connects with a decent elbow. Favier trying to control the position but Caholic is working away. Favier scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Caholic to see if he's OK.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Caholic tries to get out of the position. Favier working away. Favier wants to control but Caholic is keeping him busy.

Favier preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Caholic is in close to Favier's body, working some short punches and elbows. Caholic tries to free his leg and advance position but Favier is retaining full guard. Favier trying to keep a closed guard but Caholic is proving a slippery customer.

and Pekkarinen counters with a left right combination that sends Pikari crashing to the mat - Pekkarinen wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Pikari out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

Tikki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Storm's sensitive parts. Tikki throws a right and a left that Storm avoids nicely. Tatu Tikki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tikki misses with a wild combination.

Tikki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tikki knocks Storm to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Storm postures up in Tikki's guard and throws a big left but Tikki blocks it. Storm seems to have recovered his senses. Tikki keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully. Storm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Storm throws a big right hand that misses.

Tikki is breathing heavily. A punch combination from Tikki misses. Tikki throws a right and a left that Storm avoids nicely. Tikki tries to bum rush Storm with a series of wild strikes but Storm uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tikki takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Storm will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tikki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tikki stuffs the takedown attempt from Storm. Storm gets slowly back to his feet. Tikki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tikki tries to bum rush Storm with a series of wild strikes but Storm uses good footwork to avoid the assault. No luck for Storm with that takedown attempt. Tatu Tikki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Storm. Storm shoots in looking for a takedown. Tikki tries to sprawl out of it but Storm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tikki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Stern has his foot on Riot VI's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Riot VI works his way back into a safe position though.
Riot VI avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
