Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sebastian Stelter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsui Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura fails with the takedown.
Stelter takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nakamura throws the left hand but Stelter avoids the punch easily.
Stelter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stelter slaps away a takedown attempt from Nakamura, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Nakamura gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nakamura looking to control.

Stelter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stelter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nakamura swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stelter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nakamura manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stelter has Nakamura in his guard.
Stelter is breathing heavily.

Nakamura is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Stelter is adopting a defensive guard.
Nakamura postures up in Stelter's guard and throws a big left but Stelter blocks it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Stelter stands up from mount. Strange move.
Nakamura tries for a takedown but Stelter circles away easily
and Stelter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sebastian Stelter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tsui Nakamura.

Stelter moves into the clinch.
Stelter gets underhooks to prevent Nakamura's takedown attempt.

Stelter misses with a takedown attempt - Nakamura sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Stelter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stelter keeping moving, preventing Nakamura from controlling successfully.
Stelter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nakamura manages to get himself to full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stelter's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stelter in particular looking to stall.

Nakamura is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stelter's half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nakamura sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sebastian Stelter.

Shakyamuni Buddha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
