Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yodsaenklai Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jace Redred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yodsaenklai Fairtex had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nosnom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vega swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nosnom takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nosnom avoids a kick to the body.
Nosnom shoots for a takedown but Vega saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vega is looking to land body kicks.

Nosnom tries to keep at a distance but Vega has taken the fight into the clinch.

Nosnom has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vega uses from the top position.

Nosnom is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vega distracts Nosnom with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Nosnom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vega can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Vega is working Nosnom over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nosnom bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vega's guard.
Nosnom sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vega's guard.

Nosnom is looking for a kimura but Vega is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nosnom to get the leverage.

Nosnom is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Vega has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Nosnom wants to control the pace but Vega is squirming around nicely.

Nosnom wants to finish this one by submission but Vega is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nosnom.
Vega is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vega swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Nosnom has control of Vega's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vega regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snowman Nosnom dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Nosnom shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vega as he jumps to the side.
Nosnom moves out of range of the body kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Vega throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Nosnom stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Vega follows into mount!

It looks like Snowman Nosnom has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vega has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nosnom's face.

Nosnom might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Nosnom takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Vega's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Chance scores with a jab to the jaw.
Brighton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chance counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Brighton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chance moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice combination there by Chance.

It looks like Nick Brighton has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Chance tests Brighton's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Brighton is still on wobbly legs! Can Chance finish him?
Chance blocks a leg kick.
Brighton takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Chance lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Brighton falls backwards - clearly groggy! Chance dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
