The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Masato. No joy for Blimm on that attempt. Masato is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Masato doesn't manage to clinch there - Blimm circles away.

Masato doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Masato manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Blimm might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Masato can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masato trying to control but Blimm is working from the bottom. Blimm trying to keep a closed guard but Masato is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blimm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Masato gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Masato got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blimm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Masato has managed to get both his arms back between Blimm's legs - danger averted. Blimm is trying to control the position but Masato postures up. Masato has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Blimm to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Masato is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Blimm pulls down on the head and he's put Masato to sleep! This one is all over!

and Laguna counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kasava thinking. Laguna jabs Kasava right on the nose. Kasava blinks but takes it well. Nice defenses there by Laguna. Kasava gets a clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Kasava. Laguna blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Laguna drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kasava has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Laguna did well to prevent Kasava getting side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kasava wants to control but Laguna is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laguna desperately trying to maintain half guard. Kasava is looking to take a break and control but Laguna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Stanislaus Kasava hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Nice shot by Kasava. Kasava cracks Laguna with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Kasava scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Laguna punishes Kasava's body with a nice straight punch. Laguna moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kasava gets a clinch. Kasava lands with a right to the head. Kasava throws a head punch that misses. Laguna blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Laguna tries to circle away but Kasava has him pinned against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Laguna tries to break free but Kasava pushes him back against the cage. Laguna misses with a hook to the ribs.

Laguna on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kasava looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Laguna is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Laguna being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laguna wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kasava manages to pass to side control. Laguna is looking to control Kasava's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Laguna avoid being mounted? Laguna on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Laguna tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Laguna is trying to get back to full guard. Laguna is doing well to control the position and prevent Kasava from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kasava controlling the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Laguna defending well as Kasava loads up on a big left hand. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kasava. Laguna is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laguna is trying to escape the position but Kasava is controlling the position. Laguna can't do much from the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! Stanislaus Kasava comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Laguna has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
